It's not a FIFA-sanctioned tournament, which means we don't have to release him, so yeah, it's basically a glorified pre-season kick-a-round tournament. We don't owe him anything, we pay his wages. Simple.

I could've swore they've done much better and have had a more healthier tally in previous olympic tournaments.

We done pretty well in 96, 2000 (in Sydney) and even Athens. Used to win a lot of gold medals in swimming.
