He seemed to manhandle Zapata well last year. Not sure he needs to bulk up all that much. He is quite tenacious as it is.

neymar is light as a feather too. doesn't stop him from being awesome.

bulking up does have downsides. he wont be as fast when running. just ask c.ronaldo

Di Maria, Neymar are very strong players. Dybala seems RIGHT NOW like the Giovinco type of small players, that's why o suggest he should bulk up a little bit.
And if you compare Neymar in Brazil with the one playing in Barca you could see he's gotten stronger.

Well, you are wrong.

Dybala is nothing like Giovinco, his balance is pretty good.

Neymar isn't physically strong but what he has is a wriggly style, quick feet and speed to get away from opponents. That and he's clever, he can take a touch and throw himself to the ground when he thinks he is going to lose the ball.

Dybala has that same wiry kind of build, excellent agility, balance and close control. Giovinco spent his time trying to convince himself he could go toe-to-toe with strong players in a central role as a forward. He has no balance.

:agree: Di Maria is another example. Leave the bulking for the British. Skilled SAs should never be turned into a bull, it ruins them.
Though to be honest it worked like a charm for Ronaldo. Yes, he's not as entertaining as he once was, yes he probably couldn't dribble me these days when he used to be one of the best dribblers in the world, but he's become an unstoppable machine, an extremely efficient player.

I disagree about Neymar to be honest. He doesn't deal that well with physical contact, obviously he does well to avoid it with his cleverness, pace and wrigly style but I would consider him a player that does not have strong balance in physical contact.

Alexis Sanchez, Aguero, Messi those players are a different story though, despite their relative lack of height, those players hold their own in physical contact and are extremely difficult to brush off the ball.

Aguero, Sanchez are small but they are built like tanks, Messi is out of this world. Like you said Neymar use his trickery, and technique to avoid contact, he's a big flopper too, but if you compare his physics in Barca especially this year to how he looked in Brazil, you could see he got stronger.

Oh ya this I definitely agree with. The difference between this year and last year is also obvious. IMO it wouldn't be a disaster if he doesn't bulk up, he seems to do quite well to avoid physical contact, and use his body to gain fouls when he knows theres a chance he'll lose the ball(he's quite clever at that) so in his case, I'd say it probably is better if he doesn't bulk up and lose that wrigly style of his.
