You've never heard the phrase that Argies speak Spanish with an Italian accent?
Of course i have :D I know the Argie accent very well, especially the one from Buenos Aires. But that's my point... It isn't entirely true, while it might sound like the most Italian of the Spanish language, the pronunciation of most words give it away. Mostly the J's/L's and V's.

There are a couple of things that give him away there but living in Sicily for three years will mess with your accent :D

True but overall he really nailed it. I've heard Argies who lived and played in Italy for years and never got that good, always kept that Porteño tone to their accent.

I guess some people are just extremely good with languages. :D

Excited to see his progress with us over the years.

It's great that he comes into an already settled team with superstars all around him, and he isn't expected to set the world on fire straight away. Having his compatriot Tevez to learn from (a la Ariaudo and Cannavaro) is a huge advantage as well.
