He's 25 this year, that's old for a modern footballer should be halfway through his peak
Drogba was only known in his late twenties, there's no need to get stuck on the concept of age it doesn't matter.

I don't know about Dybala. I mean he is a fantastic player and I still think he will be our Augero, however I never had the same hype as when we had Pogba and even Marota for that matter.
How's that relevant? Subjective feeling and that doesn't mean anything lol

Being more hyped about Morata is so wrong though as much as I like him, and for Pogba, Dybala is a much more important footballer to us than Pogba ever was

Aguero hasnt done anything in CL when it mattered tbh.

I think we lacked service. Midfield needs more class. Real has class in every midfield area. We dont without Pjanic.

Its not like Dybala was missing sitters.

Too bad Pjanic was out for the freekicks also. Think we could have caused some problems there for Real.

Thoughts:

1. His overall play was much better than Cardiff. He was involved in the game.

2. Both of his yellows were very harsh, but what else can you expect from that moron Cakir

3. His freekicks were very disappointing. He had two freekicks in very good positions, he hit both of them into the wall. He normally does better with those.
He was upset that was forced into yellow Ramos, had to make up for it quickly and kill the momentum we suddenly got knowing reals option at cb for 2nd leg.

There's 15+ years between their developmental years a lot has changed in that time

No truly elite player will be a "late bloomer" any more
Jamie Vardy was playing for Fleetwood Town at the age of 24. At the age of 29 he won the PL with Leicester.

All part of the learning process. Ronaldo also had his fair share of dissapoining games at the big stage at Dybala's age - perhaps not as many but he is Ronaldo after all. Players like him come every once in a 100 years - only for some reason Messi is also one of them. Hence, Barca and Madrid continue to dominate the champions league until they both retire.

Ok, i might get smashed for this but the only way he goes on to become an elite player is if Pep Guardiola coaches him. Seeing how Pep is making Sane and Sterling look world class week in week out , i think it wont be a hard task with Dybala. Allegri has different qualities that makes him a WC coach but he cant elevate the level of attacking players like Pep does.

So perhaps Dani Alves was right :snoop:

He was one of our best players until the card. The dive was embarassing and a shame. Other than that he was really involved in all the good ways. Kept pushing forward and making himself available. The freekicks and the cards were a big disappointment.

Is it fickle, though? If our objective is to win the CL, is this the guy to help us achieve that? Like I said, give him one more year.
We have many more important problems than him, he's the least of our problems. Give him a team with great midfield and defence

Talks of cashing in is just frustration culminating in regards to him, he's our best player and we need to keep the best

You're basically saying Beppe is fickle... People are playing along to the decisions made by the board.
Beppe will sell only if Dybala want to go. If that happens that's fair game

Otherwise actively wanting to sell him is wrong

True, we have more problems in midfield. He helps us a lot domestically but is sorta MIA in Europe too often. Hopefully next season he breaks that barrier.
