This Dybala contract renewal has a scent of the Zidane situation to me. Hear me out. As some of your can gather, I've never been one to turn down a big money offer from selling any player as long as it'll improve our current squad. It's the Juve way. It's not a loser mentality as some say it is because we seem to be obsessing ourselves with other clubs in how the right thing is done. I've never done that nor I care what others are doing, just us. We've never been a club spanking money left right and centre year in year out unless we recoup a massive chunk from a sale.
Now Dybala signs a contract extension, and let's say gets sold to Real for £110m. It's business and in the world of football currently that's good money, none of this oh let's wait a few more seasons as he'll be worth £200m, cos you can just fuck off you muppet. This is how we operate.
We reinvest and bring in 3 top players from that sale alone. E.g. Sanchez, Donnarumma, & some other area needing strengthening obviously our midfield. We've got our annual summer budget hardly unused but like I said depends on who we're getting. Call it what you want but that's how we operate and like I said from the beginning of this post, it feels to me like the Zidane thing all over. It's business our business and to be honest I like it.

I like it. Whatever players come and I assuming the Ones you've mentioned then it's a no brainer. It's how we do to compete. Obviously not selling our main asset every summer but when there's potential to strengthen like the players you've mentioned every few years until we're at a stage where we're up there with the very top financially then this is how it has to be for a while longer.- - - Updated - - -
