Matri worked just as hard as anyone else come on man. There is no point in singling him out as if the others were better. Vucinic was the most talented creatively but in terms of performances they were all more or less equal.

Even the shadow of Buffon on the bench at 50 years old is a plus psychologicaly, same as it was with DP which is why the club should've renewed him. Yeah seems strange, the first thing that comes to mind is he genuinely loves this club, I think he grew up watching DP, you can even tell from his playing style, studied movements, like that gial against sassuolo, reminded me of DP spot.. another words the colors were already in his heart..other than that it can only be Moggi involvement, dude runs very very deep in waters Marotta will never be able to swim in.
