Didn't Allegri say at some point he wanted to build the team around Dybala, or something? It's sort of hard to do that when he's always injured or mentally fragile. But still, he's the only player we have that has the class to turn a match, moreso than Chiesa IMO.

Dybala is a one trick pony. Hasnt developed his game since he burst onto the scene. He is useful to have on the team because he can score those long shots out of nowhere (no wonder Allegri loves him), but he is definitely not someone to build your whole plan around. It's telling that he has not thrived playing alongside both Messi & Ronaldo. Neither Messi's insane creativity nor Ronaldo's unmatched poaching abilities were complimentary to him.

If we keep him he'll be useful but do not expect him to suddenly develop his game or to ever be part of a dominant attacking team.
