A lot comes down to the Dybala fans brushing off every bit of criticism as hate, when it's not.
I don't wanna renew with him for what he was asking for, because I'm concerned he can consistently perform at a high level, maintain his fitness/stay fit, and because I'm annoyed of him being always a puzzle to fit into any formation.
I'm not even debating he's great on his day.

There are for sure fans that try to sugercoat the times he has been in terrible form and come with excuses for his inconsistency (fanboyism etc call it what u want), but there are also people that push the "soy boy" narrative amongst other ridiculous claims (like he doesnt love the club) to an embarrassing degree. This reveals some kind of uncalled hatred for a player that after all, has been one of our most important players the last years.
I totally understand that people get annoyed by him being a "puzzle" tho. He can be frustrating at times. Also im not sure who we could bring in atm that would do a better job than Dybala does: our finances are limited and the market is difficult. Im crossing my fingers he can rediscover his peak form: it is crucial as he is one of the few with a creative mind in this team and with some "clutch" in his repertoire
