No doubt. Younger and very promising.

Reality is dybala will walk for free the way. He will return to form, win MVP, and get paid what he wants elsewhere. And we again look like fools in the transfer market.

Moggi is still alive right??? Bring him back LOL

imagine dybala refusing manure, psg and tottenham, but joining inda

also imagine broke inda paying 10m (or more) to anyone

they might sign him as a freebie next summer, would be a typical marotta thing to do, but now it's not happening

Dybala’s €7m-a-year contract expires in June 2022 and Juventus could offer him a new €8m-a-year plus bonuses to reach €10m.

The Argentinean rejected a similar offer last year, but Juventus are confident an agreement can be reached this time around.

However, both La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com report that in case the two parties fail to reach an economic agreement, they could decide to include a release clause in the striker’s contract to compensate for the difference between offer and demand.

According to Calciomercato.com, the player’s agent wants the release clause to be in the region of €40-50m, while the club would set the player’s transfer fee at €70m.
 Yes let's put a release clause in there that Brighton and fucking Hove Albion can afford to pay.

The more time that passes the less likely he will sign any contract put forth by the club.

In the end the agent and player know there are greener pastures else where.

Therefore perhaps it behooves them to not push for a new deal and let the pressure mount on the club to figure out how to either pay him or find a replacement next summer. Both of which will be a challenge for the club.

Such a thing would be exactly that - you can re-sign so we get you for a year and then a transfer fee for you.
At least you’ll buy some time, and a chance that terrible COVID market eases off a little. This mercato closes in 25 days.
Cynical me thinks this is just a ploy to wind down his contract.

Rather that than feeding an overrated free loader for the next 5 years.
For that reason I actually like the idea of a release clause.

If there's anyone who deserves this salary it's chiesa.

sell him if a good offer comes. with the sale we can get a proper forward. why the club is offering him an astronomical pay rise is beyond me.

Another player like Ramsey who in this case if he doesn't sign contract, the best I can hope is Max finds adequate replacement and keeps Dybala on the bench as much as possible. Talk about a player who wants a raise on potential results instead of recent proven results. If Barca said no to Messi, this is a much easier saying no to for Juve.

What's so wrong about asking for a release clause? The haters have called him a fiasco so 50m should be good enough for them

First it was about 15m salary, not even close to that... then after taking so long for the extension, now that it's actually taking place, it's about the release clause...

People is just itching at this point for any reason, not matter what. The good part is that Paulo is a nice guy so every hater can get on in the Paulo's wagon again when he starts to shine again this season

PS Amazing how a team with Rambo, MDS, Rugano, Berna, Arthur, Benta, Rabiot, CR7 leaving free next year... can solve all its problems just by selling Dybala
