I support a player who has given us a lot over the past few years and can change a game with a moment of magic/brilliance.

I wasn't referring to you -per se - being overly sensitive, but that everyone now gets easily offended by simple words, mere words. Everything is offensive and Non-PC it seems. Fuck that culture anyway.

You need to give yourself a break ;)
No, you are not defending a noble cause but just venting in an internet forum and insulting people with whom you can communicate. I don't mind insulting a politician or a celebrity but I have never insulted a person on the internet except for 2-3 trolls for 20 years or so. I tend not to do something behind the keyboard that I wouldn't do in the face of a person. That's just me though. It's my fault to expect the same from others. I just don't see the point of insulting people like you or me. If I get insulted face to face like @Osman did - there will be a confrontation right at the spot. And I don't like confrontations, so I don't insult people in the face.

Maybe because you are neigbouring country to Germany? For us Germany is just another Euro country, while its close to home for you guys (kinda like the sole dortmund fan I met here, was from Poland, told me its common to be fans of bundesliga teams there).

Also despite EPL nr 1, it helps that there been tons of swedish profiles who excelled in Serie A since the 40s til today, so it will allways get tiny bit more attention then anything non EPL (people watch Barca and real here, but they dont really give a fuck about la liga lol).

Obviously, I dont think this mental midget who is saying otherwise, dont realize that currently Götze is more known for his weed bussiness with Schurrle then anything he done on the pitch...in almost for 5 years now.
A lot of Danes would take it as an insult to be called Germans though, but yeah I guess it has something to do with us being next to Germany so we had a lot more influence from them than you guys, even our language was influenced.

I admitted to that phrase being wrong, but no one admitted that suggesting switching to Bayern over Juve for wanting more intl trophies was also wrong.
Not sure i mentioned trophies in my post. You referred to a golden era of 20 plus years ago.

Bayern is an amazing club. I referenced them because of their current status..could have well mentioned real or barca based on the past decade.

I dont disagree with your original comment about ambition and striving to be the best...as a club we should. To be fair I think we were not far away..the two CL losses under Allegri really hurt us. We needed to win one to get the 20 plus year drought off our back. We have since fallen and the club needs to get the squad and manager back in the right track.

But we need to face the world we live in...financially we can't sell a zidane and bring in buffon nedved and thuram as we once did. We cant sell baggio and have ADP ready to take over. Serie A isnt the best league anymore nor do we achieve revenue results as we once did.

All the above including my reference to bayern was really aimed at your original post.

Comparing Bayern and Juve is the wrongest thing in the world. One is playing in a one horse league with monopoly on every player walk in the game in the league. Besides they are the best team in one of the best economy's in the world with huge revenue. and the other one can't even buy an excluded player from atalanta a small club in the league. And our revenue getting less and less cuase we are forced to share our TV rights with fucking Crotone evenly.

The comparison can't get any more unfair.

And to think our incompetent board wanted to exchange Dybala with Lukaku....

Oh wait
:sergio: :wallbang:

Yes, because Lukaku is playing all alone out there. It's a team sport FFS! We've discussed this an endless number of times, but some of you just don't get it or refuse to comprehend basic concepts/notions.

Inter have a proper coach and a proper midfield. They also have a system that caters to the lumbering oaf. At Juventus, he'd have to play second fiddle to Ronaldo, and we all know how that's gonna pan out. You put Lukaku in this team, and I guarantee you we'll be worse off, but I digress.

I don’t think what they’re trying to say is that Lukaku is better than Dybala. Maybe what they’re trying to point out is that Lukaku would be a better fit for our style and needs.

A better fit for a system that isn't working and has no ability to create for him?

The only thing better about lukaku right now is that he isnt injured and is fit.

You'd be surprised. There are actually some posters who genuinely believe that Lukaku is a better player.

Our style and needs all went down the drain once we signed Ronaldo and became over reliant on him, without providing him with a functional midfield. It's no coincidence that our results and performances have regressed since CR7 joined.

My theory is since ronaldo joined, we have had sarri and pirlo manager. I think that speaks volumes.
We also had Allegri in his first season here. Sure, we won the title, but were unceremoniously bounced out of Europe by a young and hungry Ajax. The signs were there - in fact, the signs were there after our CL final humiliation in 2017, but we kept papering the cracks.

Now, we definitely need huge changes in midfield to become competitive again.

No doubt....we have not invested in this team since ronaldo, midfield being the most impacted. In fact, we haven't invested in midfield, since pogba vidal and pirlo all left. Pjanic was good qt the time...but other than that we really haven't.

I agree that the Ronaldo signing wasn’t well studied, it didn’t seem as impulsive as it does now, but it kinda was. It’s like investing all your budget in a super weapon when you don’t even have an armour to protect you or your investment. I feel bad for both Dybala and CR, they’ve been lost in this wasteland where our management has been sowing their unworthy ideas for the last 3 years. As Adrian said, even Lukaku in his current form would turn into an Amauri with our kind of midfield behind him.

Lukaku is better professional than Dybala, therefore he’s probably a better player. On top of that, i’d imagine Lukaku having doubly tally when it comes to goals compared to Dybbs already. Maybe on their absotelu best days, Dybala has little bit more flair around him, bur career and stat wise Lukaku is far ahead and that’s what matters.

On top of that i think the Argentine had peaked meanwhile Lukaku is still evolving into a more complete package.
