edit: in the absence of cuadrado to take pressure of high pressing, dybala has done a good job dropping deep to hold ball and distribute. i generally dont like him doing that because it affects his goal scoring and assists, but he is back to being a complete player past few days now.

I was surprised how quickly this forum had gone beyond bemoaning his form to writing him off completely. If you opened this thread past few months you would've thought he was Bernardeschi and not someone who was Serie A MVP a couple months ago

He looked worse than Bernadeschi for the first 4 months of the season... it’s not really a wonder that people were annoyed by it and writing him off. Some of the attacks on him were just plain stupid, but given that he had an awful 2018-19 season, then a great 2019-20 season, then an abysmal first 4 months of this season... well, he certainly deserved a lot of the criticism. Just like he’ll deserve a lot of praise if he finishes the season strong.

I don't have an issue with criticizing those performances but he wasn't finished beyond repair. The only option wasn't to sell him January

You have to thank Allegri for teaching him this aspect of the game.

i was close to losing my mind with this thread, it was brain damaging just reading some of the comments here at that time. Actually avoided it for a long time. Glad he is getting back to his best so we can move on and talk about more important matters

Don't need to lose your mind, you should know that all of the Dybs haters are mentally challenged. Have patience my child.

I like Dybala, but I would still cash in on him. He is too inconsistent and unreliable, especially in CL

offcourse, thats why it was so annoying. He was out of form and then people jump the gun, "sell him in january!" etc like he was completely finished.

I always said that the criticism he received was fair, more was expected of of him, but there is also a point where the criticism becomes more like hate/bias and people act like he never did anything for this club. He deserved a chance to show that he could perform again.

This forum didn't wanted Chiesa, so that paints the picture very well and how deluded are when it comes to Dybala and Dybala is love. Dybala is life.
