Are we trying to take advantage of the tax laws by selling him and getting a player from outside the league who will cost less in terms of wages?

There are only three 'assets' we have at this point that can guarantee you solid plusvalenza. Demiral, De Ligt and Dybala. I can see one of them being sacrificed.

Pirlo has publicly criticized Dybala before, pointing out work ethic etc.

Also Dybala hasn’t showed up in crucial moments outside Italy for years. He’s a WC player at his best, but I don’t see him as untouchable.

For argument’s sake, would you swap him for a Pogba or Martial?
I'd do Labile-Dybi swap

Dybala is the soul of this team, selling him will be a huge heartbreak. I think it’s only fair to make him the second highest payee, he’s earned it. He deserves at least 10 million, make him feel important and reward him for the terrific season he delivered.

Yeah, 15m is nuts.

Although we must remember that Dybala might be a lot better with competent midfield behind him.
Or replaced by an actual winger :D

It is, IF he's actually asking for that much.
Not the first time such a number pops up. Before it was linked to the fact that he owes money to that shady agency he signed with.

It's a meaningless award that he got because of recency bias. There's no question Ronaldo was the MVP if someone from our team was getting it. Luis Alberto or Papu Gomez should've gotten it tho.

He was the MVP post-break, had a very good season overall and that's great. I've just NEVER seen anyone refer to other winners in the past constantly as 'Serie A MVP'. I don't even know who were the winners in previous years. It's based on Opta stats ffs

It's like some inferiority complex using it every time to try and make it seem bigger than it is.

I'm not. It never had any value in the first place.

It's a nice recognition and all, but also funny how it needs to be pointed out every so often just in case someone forgets.
What a cheap narrative, you can say the same about almost any award in the world. Did you run some polls and your judgement is good enough for the world?

And lets play your cheap narrative. Lets sell Paulo for 90m. What next? Because if you want to take you logic as 100% precise, I could go in the same way and tell you that the last time when we did that (selling Pogba) and it was a failure, it's going to be exactly the same... that's the good about cheap narratives, don't require logic at all

It's not a cheap narrative, it's the truth. It's an award that started last season literally and nobody made a big deal out of it last year either. And I didn't see anyone else make a big deal out of Handanović winning best GK etc.

Where the hell did I say sell Dybala? Why are people around here so sensitive to anything about Dybala?
