how exactly did this lonely creative player work out in the time before he got subbed ? i like dybala very much but he did not do shit to warrant him being un-substitutable. saying dybala was not worst on the pitch is retard logic. you can not always sub the worst if you do not have proper replacement for them. you wont substitute a goal keeper if he has a bad day and you wont substitute zaza if he is the only centre forward you have. since we lack a centre forward and it was said that we want to slowly integrate dybala it is a sound decision to leave zaza on the field to give him the needed playing time to give him match fitness and make him more reliable. if we subbed him out we basically destroyed the confidence of the only centre forward who is healthy right now. what will you do in the next game ? if you field zaza again he will shit his pants and play very cowardly because he is afraid of getting subbed off. that is not the mindset you want your centre forward in.
So what position does Morata play? What position was Dybala fielded in for much of last year?
We need Dybala to be confident and comfortable a lot more than Zaza. He's literally the only SS we have on the team, our most creative striker, our biggest investment, and the better player. You're worried about destroying the confidence of Zaza, here? That's your argument, when the team is in this type of crisis and needs a result?
And by the way, that lonely creative player actually created our goal, and by introducing Cuadrado, Morata, and Sandro, Dybala wouldn't have been so lonely up front.
