the thing i see with dybala is that he probably is pretty hit and miss in his action (shown even by his "best of" videos). he can afford to dribble past one player and then fuck up the pass, because he is the focal point of palermo and he gets most of the balls, but with us he will not get every ball played to him and if he fucks up half of balls we play to him by not being able to properly pass or shoot after dribbling he will get even less balls played to him and this will make his confidence decline.

I agree that we could stand to lose between 15 to 20 million in a worst case scenario with this player. I guess what I'm saying is, we are in a position to handle that now.

The thing that worries the most about him is his apparent inability to use the right foot.

Have to watch him more to be sure of this, but nowadays players must be capable to use both feet.

We weren't CL semi finalists before :D Nobody in their right mind would chose Roma over us or any other Italian side for that matter.

Players today want a shot at CL football, want the spotlight. And this team can give it to anyone now.

If @Mark AKA the jinxing master jinxs it, he'll go to the PL.
I know, I know.

I'm just psyched for this guy, and would be really choked up about it if we were to lose him at this stage.

Even if he's been in a slump for the last several weeks, he looks like about as sure a thing as a 21 year old can look, and he offers just what this team lacks in attack, and he has that creativity and flair in spades. Psyched.

There are way too many negative nancys in this thread the last couple pages with regards to Dybala's talent.

Dybala confirmation this week?
By Football Italia staff

Juventus’ long-anticipated move for Palermo striker Paulo Dybala could reportedly be wrapped up by the end of the week.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus director general Beppe Marotta will hold a summit with Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini and Dybala’s representatives on Thursday or Friday.

The newspaper believes that the Old Lady have raised their offer to €36m, paid over three years and split into €32m up front and €4m in bonuses.

The bonus money will depend on Dybala’s performances and the objectives reached by the club, but the total could be reduced by including Nicola Leali or Kingsley Coman in the offer.

The Bianconeri are believed to have fought off competition from Inter for the 21-year-old, who has scored 13 Serie A goals this season.

Damn yo...36 mil
Would rather go for a Firmino or a set of fullbacks with that amount.
