I still rather sign Dybala for sure, I just want us to squeze Palermo as much as possible when we do.
Oh, me too. He suits us better. I just meant to say that neither of them is a sure thing or a finished product quite yet. It's far too early to tell which will be the better player. I really wouldn't mind signing both. And even loaning Berardi back to Sassuolo for one more year. He's the most promising Italian forward prospect in almost 10 years... it would suck to lose him and have him become a massive talent somewhere else. It would be flat out embarrassing.

Zamp is already starting to eat his words. Now only 3 teams really want him. No mention of price. And only "those who understand football know his potential."

Sounds like no one is offering 40-50 mil

Defenitely should be a foregone conclusion that we MUST buy Berardi fully, only question mark is if he is added to the squad or loaned out.

But from what I seen both players, I'm more confident that we need Dybala in the squad next season, seems more ready/ easier adapted to our needs. Wouldnt mind having Berardi as a squad player though, luxury option. Just positionally difficult player to fit in.

It's basically Juve, Inter and probably Napoli/Roma, the last remark suggests foreign teams aren't interested. Shame for Zamp...lol.

Do you think Berardi can play off Tevez/Morata as a SS in a front 2? Or strictly a wing player?
First of all I havent seen him in 2 man attack enough to judge (not enough in general either btw), but everything points to that that he defenitely seems to suit being a fake winger drifting and creating/positioning himself to score mainly as preferred choice, might be just too risky to try him as a normal attacker in 2 man attack. Maybe he simply cant be effective with such a change? Or suddenly excells there, who knows, seems to be a crafty player. But I doubt we are willing to take the risk on him just yet. Because it would be a waste to take him back and have no idea where or how much we want to use him.

Hopefully we can bring both in this summer but Berardi needs another year playing elsewhere imo. No point of him coming here to be 4th choice. He still needs to learn how to play more intelligently, Dybala is miles ahead of him in that department. And learning only comes with playing time. Like others have said the main issue is can he play as a second striker instead of a winger.

What is our deal with Berrardi? DO we own him outrighjt or is it the option? I kinow something happened with him and Zaza but I forgot what happened
I believe we have the option to purchase him outright for 15M. Since we already paid 5 we would be paying 20M total for him. A bit expensive for me because we have no clue if he can fit into Allegris preferred formation

If we do not sign him, I have a feeling that Napoli will sign him and Benitez signing a new 4 year contract later this week may be a portent of my gut feeling about Dybala's next club.
