Well at least we know Marotta won't pull a Secco on us. Its on our terms whether Zamp likes it or not. We can just as easily walk away and say fuck off. The kid wants to leave, play CL football and is in the last year of his contract. Let someone else overpay for him, who cares.

I just agree with you.If some other club wants to overpay for him then so be it.

Well played. :D

Seriously though, I think (?) Marotta bid 32m already if I'm not mistaken so hopefully that's a "take it or leave it' scenario. Watch no one else match it and we get him for free next summer.

At this point I'd choose him over Berardi if I had to but for 15m it might be a more worthwhile risk than overspending on Dybala. Seems like Zamp is thinking to himself that Juve are kicking themselves for missing out on Pastore, Cavani or Sanchez so he is trying to do a money grab. Fuck that guy

The only problem with that 32m figure that's being touted, is giving credence to Zamps claim that this kid is the shit. And especially since that offer comes from us, I can see a lot of teams like Inter, Roma, trying to play catch up with Juve, go and overpay for the player just to get one up on our targets. That's one way of bridging the gap, apart from being impressionable second fiddles, there's not much else teams in a league can do when one team dominates for a certain amount of time. For something to change, either the ruling team self destructs, or a life altering moment happens in the history of the club. Like the takeover at Milan will shift the balance of power somewhat, comparatively to what we've seen with Roma and Lazio this season, especially if their spend figures are close to bei true.

the likelihood of that happening is, even at a conservative estimate, somewhere less than 1%.

But the principle of paying a realistically justified fee is one I fully support. Sadly for us, a club like PSG (FFP hamstrung or not), watching from the sidelines will come in with €40m and close the deal in a matter of days.

Inter prepare Dybala bid?
By Football Italia staff

Inter are reportedly ready to offer €25m plus players to secure Palermo’s Paulo Dybala.

The Argentinian striker is known to be a target for Juventus, with the likes of Arsenal, Roma and Paris Saint-Germain also thought to be interested.

The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that - other than Juve - Inter are the most advanced for the player, and are preparing to offer €25m plus players to secure his signature.

Francesco Bardi is known to be a target for the Rosanero, and is currently on loan at Chievo. Other options include George Puscas or Lorenzo Crisetig.

However, the newspaper believes that due to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, the Nerazzurri will have to sell before they can shell out €25m.

Prime candidates for departure include Samir Handanovic, Hernanes, Fredy Guarin and Mateo Kovacic, who is a target for Liverpool.

Zamparini will drag this shit out till the last second waiting for a stupid rich club to do what stupid rich clubs do.

I'd be OK with that. Move on to Berardi.

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini says Paulo Dybala’s future will be decided in 'a maximum of fifteen days’.

The striker will leave the Rosanero this summer, and has been heavily linked with Juventus and Inter, as well as the likes of Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

“At least three teams are really interested in him,” Zamparini told Giornale di Sicilia.

“The apple is ripe and we’re ready to pick it. I think in 10, or a maximum of 15 days we’ll know his future.

“We’ll meet the lad and his agent to complete the deal, those who understand football realise his potential.”
