Don't think there is any available players to replace Tevez in the Summer, so assuming he stays another season we'll have to take action next Summer

I'm not sure a top striker in good form will be available then either, at least not for anything less than what would surely be all of our budget + a huge wage increase. So maybe we finally transition to a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 or something? Because if we can't even maintain the level of our attack when Tevez goes, we'd surely be better off implementing a change that means we don't necessarily need 2 strikers.

Hard to say though, considering we're trying to predict the best course of action a Year from now.

As for Dybala being a direct Tevez replacement, I wouldn't be happy. I think he MIGHT have it in him to be a top class #10 one day but we're now back in the European spotlight and we're not a developmental club so unless he hits the ground running it's not going to work well for him as a man for man replacement.

It's worth noting that even if a top striker is available this/next Summer and we can afford him, that he has to be more of a #10 because a traditional #9 no matter how good won't replace Tevez, they would merely be an improvement on Morata.
tevez stays another year and we get dybala this summer. Dybala grows under the stewardship of tevez for a year and by the end of next season heading into the 2016-17 season he will be ready.

You're right, we are going to sign someone for 20m+rubinho to spend the time on the bench :beppe:
I got a suggestion! There's this guy who can got that price, great depth signing for all positions, warms the bench like a boss, can have the SP7 effect. Only 1.3 mil euro à year for 5 years, his name is Darman aka Fr3sh very good player and can roll mean spliffs.

i tried to imagine that team with Pogba on the wing, Tevez and Morata upfront and Dybala behind and it looked weird. would you post a formation to see hat you mean?

Why has everyone seemingly forgotten that we already half-own a very talented, very promising young forward named Domenico Berardi? Has a mediocre half season by a 20 year old really diminished his star that much? He has 27 goals and 20 assists in 2 Serie A seasons by 20 years old.

I honestly cannot believe this guy receives so little attention and praise on this forum and that some members have already basically given up on him. The list of players who have performed that well in top 4 league before the age of 20 is very short.
