a lot of people actually liked Morata, the majority was against him because of the buy back clause mostly and the fact that he was more expensive than Immobile as they didnt want to waste money on a backup striker to have enough for Iturbe/Shaqiri. Dybala is this seasons Iturbe (in terms of being wanted by people here), not Morata. i doubt you would find much who are against spending up to 30M for him. Immobile/Morata was a vs, it was either the one or the other. in this current situation, a lot of us hope we can sign both because a lot of us think they are both amazing. not comparable situations IMO.
No its not
only because of the buy-back clause but also because of the fact that he barely had any starts in top flight football.Immobile was supposed to be more 'proven' at the time considering he was the league's top scorer.Nobody knew much about him let alone watch him.Dont tell me we had 'scouts' on Tuz here who were regularly monitoring a Madrid benchwarmer.I hadnt watched much of him either prior to his move.
Dybala may be this season's Iturbe in terms of the hype but his performances has eclipsed Iturbe's last season's exploits by a fair margin.
Now in this situation, some people prefer Berardi over Dybala coz they feel the latter is going to turn out to be another Iturbe. My point here is these ppl are showing the same level of confidence towards the Dybala signing as they did towards the Morata signing, which is not a lot.
Dybala seems to be the more talented player, yes, but he is also a year older than Berardi and has one good season less in his career, lets not forget that. we dont know how the 2 of them will do in the coming years, what i hope is they will turn out as great players and carry our attack in the post Tevez years together with Coman and Morata
I have nothing against Berardi.I think people need to stop making silly assumptions that i or others have some sort of prejudice against Italian players which isnt true.I always want Juve to have an Italian core with top foreign players complementing them.
I mainly want a player who can be adept at 1v1 situations and is capable of running at defenders.Dybala also has great vision.I see more of that 'it' factor in Dybala than Berardi right now.
If Berardi wants to be a backup and if we can afford both players, then by all means bring him in too but i'm not sure Berardi himself would entertain that idea.

We can bring in Darmian, Allan and Berardi for the same amount as Dybala.
Judging by the way Marotta handled things in previous years we're not paying for Dybala.
Darmian will cost near 20m
Allan would cost about the same as well
Berardi would cost 15m.
So thats over 50m.No,not quite the same.
