Wenger rubbishes Dybala rumours
Football Italia

Arsenal Coach Arsene Wenger has dismissed claims that he is interested in Palermo's Paulo Dybala - 'Show me the offer'.

Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini previously said that Arsenal, alongside Juventus, had already made an offer for his star striker.

But the head of the Gunners, speaking in today's Press conference ahead of their game against Liverpool, challenged those statements.
“Ask him to show you the offer,” he said. “We are not at all interested

Arsenal still on Dybala?
By Football Italia staff

It’s reported that Arsenal are still in the hunt for Palermo’s Paulo Dybala, despite Arsene Wenger’s denials.

Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini said earlier this week that the Gunners had made a bid for the 21-year-old, along with Juventus.

However, in a Press conference today, the English side’s manager denied that any offer had been made.

Despite this Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Alisher Usmanov, who owns 25 per cent of Arsenal made a written enquiry to Palermo seeking information about Dybala.

That would not contradict the words of the manager, who said that Arsenal had not made an offer, as the website believes all that took place was a request for information.

Juventus are believed to be favourites for the Argentinian attacker, although Zamparini’s €40m asking price could prove a stumbling block.

I do think Arsenal are interested but Zamo tried to exploit the situation to create interest in the player across other European teams. Juve still favourites but one offer from the Epl will see us up our offer unless Dybala holds out for Juve.

Now I really believe that Zamparini called GDM to save his ass. CMIIW, but isn't Wenger the one who decides the transfers? In England most of the decision makers for transfers are managers and not sporting directors right?

But is he holding out for Juve?
