Arsenal don't have a GM who controls their transfer policy, Wenger does most if not all of it. Tbh I see a lot of similarities in both their own and our transfer policy only that they can now afford to spend more as they are free of debt and don't owe money, I can only hope Juve reach that stage soon

I wouldn't say it is completely shit, on the face of it it is actually quite decent (perhaps not quite good enough to dominate europe or the domestic league as such, but one or 2 top/decent players in defensive roles they can do some serious damage, though I feel wengers stuborness and reactive style of management in game is what is holding them back

Yeah well one could argue Dybala hasn't proved anything compared to someone like Cuadrado who's been magnificent for Fiorentina for years now. But the difference is simple. Dybala is 21 years old and showing Ballon d'or potential already. I don't know what he will go for, but the fact is that he's only got a year left of his Palermo contract so asking €40m would not only be greedy but also very hard to negotiate to any reasonable GM. Only there are tons of unreasonable GMs around Europe..

I just don't see Arsenal table such an offer. We should be able to match €30m, but we're likely to offer €20m + Marrone instead..
