It’s the more likely option, but the upside would be big enough to try imo. Pogba used to be so good that the 105m ManUtd paid for him felt like a small amount at the time.

If he’s be genuine that he wants a chance to play for Juve, he needs to come with offer of ~€2m p.a. contract then Juve decide if he can stay in the squad as backup and accept the offer or pay that amount as severance and he tries his luck elsewhere.
