Pretty sure they'll send him to Saudi or 'mutually' cancel his contract. It's a shame as they took his #10 and probably want to avoid paying his massive wages. We'll get the 'he's out of the project' speech soon.

my question is why is he still suspended? Why a reduced ban? He’s either guilty or he’s not. And if he accidentally took something hes already served enough punishment.
the length of a ban is always subjective. nobody understood why he got the 4 year ban in first place, it was so out of proportion

he has one other season left of his contract. we'll continue to pay him the minimum wage until the end of his suspension, so this season won't be heavily affected by these news but boy, is the sports justice an unpredictable mess. next season's planning suddenly became a bit more complicated

and i also wanted him to fuck off finally

I could see him lowering his wages to stay, if he wanted to go to Saudi he would have already done so before his ban. He can go there after next season, gotta remember he wants to go to the World Cup. Either way hes not gonna stay at his current wages so it’s not even worth worrying about.

i don't think he has a realistic shot at a place in the world cup squad and playing outside of europe would only decrease that. my bet is that he'd be happy to stay. and i hope giuntoli treats him the same way as he treated chiesa

and it's not only the wages. i simply don't think that a lazy ex-star nearing retirement who couldn't stay healthy for a month for years and whose last competitive game will be almost 2 years before his projected return has a place in this squad

have you watched France without Pogba? Theyve missed him, they don’t have anyone like him. He walks into that squad. “Nearing retirement” …he’s 31.
