I think it's because Juve has to wait for the banning decision to remain final.
As long as the case is ongoing he cannot be terminated , because in the appeal he might win his innocence back( far fetched I know).
Once the verdict is final and hopefully the ban stands then Juve can get rid of him (aka terminate his contract).
