Juve management were aware he had missed ~75 matches due to injury in his 3 seasons before we signed him. They were aware he had regressed in his years at ManU from what he was here in 2015-16. There was no reason at all to believe this move would work out any other way than it did.

To be fair he might have done better if the club had not been in turmoil and there would actually have been some sort of plan on how to implement him.

Even in hindsight I don't mind the risk. Pogba was one of the best in the world at his peak. He's still only 30. It was a gamble we should have been able to take. It's all those other simultaneous gambles that make it look bad.

When he returned I expected some injuries and frustrations, but never did I thought about missing a full season and getting caught with doping. If we had to describe a worst case scenario than this would be it.

Im amazed that people still think it could have gone the other way. The guy hasn’t been relevant in football since 2018 and is living of past reputation. He hasn’t been a professional athlete in years . He should retire and do social media full time

thing is that we're already way past that. he can't stay fit, period. ffs a relatively unknown agent said the other day that pogba should prove that he's worthy of a contract in the saudi league :rofl: that's his level, not the number 10 of juventus (number 10 of jj, that's a 50-50 straight out of bonucci's vocabulary lol)

so at this point this is the best realistic scenario: get rid of him and move on
