I love how some here are trying to make him look like a bad player. He still contributed with 8 assists this season - I wonder if our entire midfield have 8 assists together...
I can understand people here want SMS but it doesnt make Pogba a bad option. The guy who completely lost it still provides assists - What we need is a midfielder who can score and assist - I think its obvious he will improve our midfield greatly.
That being said - IF we do get him which is unlikely more than likely - We will need 2 midfielders who can cover for him - Locatelli is definitely capable while Zakaria even if Im not his biggest fan is also capable of doing it.

He doesnt track back for the same reason Kulu doesnt track back much at Tottenham - EPL tactics are different than Serie A...
It doesnt make him a great defender though as even when he played for us he was never great at defending...

As for Nkunku - He is a dream but I dont understand why you look at his defensive attributes as he isnt even a CM but more of an AM. I think he could be a great replacement for Dybala as he can assist and score. He wouldnt be affordable though..

I got no issues if he comes except his wages, no fucking way this guy is worth 15M pound a year. Half that at best.
Yes cuadrado played more matches but often as a defender so numbers would be lower anyway as opposed to Pogba whose job is basically assist and score but even if you go by match ratings Cuadrado is up there with him and he shouldn't be.
Pogsfans have thier expectations set way too low for his supposed level of ability and set wages.

You say the only thing not to love? He sucks in all their big matches, under three successive coaches now. As in he performs worse than players in that team who have a quarter of his talent. He gives zero effort, there is a reason they all call him Jogba. It’s not that he just doesn’t give effort tracking back when they lose the ball, he doesn’t press hard in the attacking half either, the style everyone seems to want us to play, this high pressing game, Jogba is ass at that. He dicks around with the ball and loses it all the time, then throws his hands up and pouts instead of working hard to get it back.
There are all sorts of things about him not to love lol

As for his wages - Yeah I dont want him at these wages as well. He can take MDL`s salary at best.
The thing is, he seems kind of done with Man Utd and unless PSG/Real come up with a big salary, he might accept reduced wages although I dont know how much of a reduction he might agree to. This is why it is more unlikely than likely.
In any case - Skill wise he is definitely what we need and we would be lucky to have him for next year.
Unless we can get SMS, Pogba is the best reinforcement we can get for our midfield (IMO)

Not that he gave more effort, be looks better when he was/is freed up enough for us to see his strengths more and his weaknesses less.
Here with Vidal and cheesio/khedira watching his back and kante doing that in NT.
He is not a complete player, It's mainly for this reason that his valuation is unjustified, because he is only capable of 1/2 of what his wages suggest he is supposed to be able to do.

What I know is that Pogba is a numbers guy. He doesnt just play around he also shoots well and has a vision in him.
Should we get a chance to get a player who can provide goals and assists we should definitely do it even if a bit overpaid.
As for his wages - Up to MDL`s wages it would be understandable, above that we should look at other players who can offer us that.
