Speaking of our ability to buy Pogba personally I thinks it’s possible. It will depend on a lot of things, but if United is asking for lets say 100m it wouldn’t necessarily mean we need to pay 100m right now. There are always multiple options and most transfers are paid in multiple installments. We’re paying De Ligt in multiple installments, Higuaín was paid to Napoli in 2 years, we’re still receiving money from Kean, etc.

Its more if the board thinks that the financial impact Pogba would have on us is sustainable when we’re still paying big time for Ronaldo, an improved contract for Dybala, Higuaín still on the books, Khedira, etc etc etc. But we shouldn’t forget that financially we’re a top 10 (ok, 11) club in the world so there is always some room for investments.

So like always actually we’re depending on good results in the CL and we need to have some luck with selling deadwood like Perin, Khedira and the rest.

Honestly I feel that it is possible, if we continue to make some smart deals as with Arthur/Pjanic, Berna/Milik, than I feel optimistic. It would also depends on Pogba willingness to ask for a acceptable salary.

If Paul really wants to come back, with his contract ending in 2021 (if know they have an option for another year, but I’ve been reading multiple times that United won’t use it), we’re in a good position to negotiate. He’s been a pain in the ass for United last years, so somewhere should be the willingness to close that chapter for them aswell.

Manchester has no financial problem, if they want to keep him, he will stay.
Deep down I think he likes Manchester, he has a very good salary, media attention for his marketing buisiness, and an interesting challenge to win the Premier League. However if the sports project collapses again, there will be a weariness on his part and the club, they will be forced to rebuild again and sell a Pogba who wion't want to play the Europa League the umpteenth time

United will qualify for the CL though. On that 'high' he'll renew his contract, because they can afford it and what happens afterwards won't matter anymore. No one will be after Pogba by the time he realizes he wants to move.

Yeah - that is the worst, but very realistic scenario. I just hope United would tank some games. They have young, fresh and hungry players though...

We can't take a new 100M target after each round of EPL. Pogba, I am certain, realizes that. He also knows how 'deep' United's love run for him, especially after his 'injuries'.

He is? Such a loser.
More and more rumors. I'm not even surprised. Nobody is willing to pay his current salary, not to mention give him a better one. Same goes for his transfer fee. The only option he's got is to extend and collect dem monies for those top6 challenges every year. MU is rich as fuck, they can afford it easily.
