Pogba must take Juventus pay cut
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have reportedly told Paul Pogba he needs to take a pay cut if he wants to leave Manchester United for a return to Turin.
According to Tuttosport and the Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri intend to introduce a salary cap of €9m per season for new signings.
That means Pogba’s current €12m per year wage would go outside their financial plans, so he’d have to cut it down.
Another issue is with the transfer fee, as Manchester United are continuing to ask for at least €100m.
That can be reduced with the inclusion of other players in part-exchange, such as Douglas Costa, Adrien Rabiot or Aaron Ramsey.
While Manchester United would like to bring Alex Sandro or Merih Demiral into the equation, Juventus have no intention of selling them.

Just goes to show how unbelievably fucked up the football economy is that a player, in this case Pogba, can spend 3 years performing gradually worse and worse, regressing, picking up injuries and being an all round prick to his employers and it's inconceivable that he DOESN'T get a pay rise.

It's fucking ridiculous. Clubs have given in to players for far too long and this is the state we're in now. Agents are cancerous too

12m only i thought something around 16m

can we lossen the salary cap only for him ...

thats mean Juve and MU can finish the deal only Pogba's salary ...

Ramsey + Rabiot + 25m and good to go ...

Chiellini: ‘Pogba surprised us’
MAY 29, 2020
Giorgio Chiellini revealed he and his teammates didn’t expect much from Paul Pogba when he joined: “Nobody expected such a champion.”
Pogba joined Juventus in 2012 on a free transfer from Manchester United and went on to win numerous titles with the Bianconeri before becoming a World Cup winner with France.
“I remember when he came. Three or four days into the retreat, my teammates and I looked at each other and said: ‘This guy is really good’, Chiellini recalled in his autobiography ‘Io Giorgio’.
“He came as a free agent from Manchester United, he was very young, and we thought he was just one of many passing through. One of those who clubs use to do work on the market.
“However… Nobody expected such a champion. Paul moved around with incredible physique, he was magical, impressive. And to say that the first games he played out of position, in front of the defence to ease Pirlo.
“But knowing him, in the time to come it became clear that the role had limited him. Paul could not open his stride and free his physical and technical arrogance, what would allow him to become the formidable box-to-box player we know.”

Man Utd unconvinced by Rabiot-Pogba deal
By Football Italia staff

According to Italian reports, Manchester United are not eager to have Adrien Rabiot included as a €30m portion of the Juventus bid for Paul Pogba.
The Bianconeri are using their own players as part-exchanges to bring down the cost of transfer fees in the post-pandemic age.
Rabiot has struggled for playing time since arriving as a free agent from PSG last summer, so is the ideal candidate to be swapped out.
Manchester United have shown interest in the Frenchman before and had been in a bidding war with Juve for his signature last year.
However, according to Calciomercato.com, Juve’s valuation of Rabiot at €30m is not shared by Manchester United, especially with his €7m per season salary demands.
So although Rabiot could well be included in any deal bringing Pogba to Turin, he’ll be a far smaller part of the equation than Juve would like.

On thing I can think of as to why we are not moving for Tonali is that we already have the green light from Pogba and closing the deal with MU.

Only reason.

Anything else our club is retarded for not getting Tonali.
