Swap inconsistent Pjanic instead. Guy made so many wrong passes against a crap team like Parma.

Really weird how differently people read the game. Pjanic, to me, is right after Mandzu and Cronaldo when it comes to being indispensable for Juve. Dybala on the other hand sticks out like a sore thumb and I'm pretty sure that we won't make it function with him on the team.

I'm pretty sure Mario won't be starting over Dybala and Costa all season long, a dip in form is inevitable after he basically skipped pre-season this summer. Mario goes through a big slump every year, was terrible first half of 16/17, then last season was completely out of gas at the first few months of 2018, was so bad people were discussing whether China is next for him as it was obvious he doesn't have the engine for LW anymore

he's unique, as no one else in our squad has the characteristics he provides, but I wouldn't say he's irreplaceable or a definite starter when everyone is match fit

Ronaldo is 33 and Mandzukic is 32, but let's sell our brightest and most marketable attacking talent after Ronaldo.

Pjanic, a 28 year old, who is incredibly inconsistent and whose sole claim to being indispensable is that the other options in midfield range from average to absolute dogshit. Some of you really overrate Pjanic.

Oh for fucks sake. Pjanic IS indispensable. He just cant boss the midfield or guide the tempo each game. That has alot to do with the players next to him.

If Can turns into some sorth of vidal without the offensive output (so the pressing and defending), u'll eat all your words and then some

He is a bright talent. But is yet to make the leap into a top player imo. Seen very little progression from him since he joined us.

its really shocking that some people underrate Pjanic.

Sure he has had some occassional struggles but generally that is from being asked to play a much more physical and defensive role than he is really built for. On the ball the guy is genius but Allegri asks an awful lot of him that he isn't really built for physically and he still manages to do it most of the time.

Cut the guy a break. He is the least of our problems in midfield. Ideally, I would like to see Bentancur replace him as the deep lying CM and shift him out to a role where he has more freedom to move forward but until then the guy is crucial.

The question becomes why, and maybe Allegri's tactics don't suit him, or maybe he can't function alongside prolific forwards like Higuain and Ronaldo...

I think a lot of people thought he would be more of a playmaking SS/#10, would be a 20 goal - 10+ assist type guy after his last season at Palermo where he scored 13-assisted 10. And when Allegri converted him to more of a CAM and had him drop deeper, that expectation became more pronounced... but he's actually regressed in terms of playmaking imo. He's been poor at picking out the right pas around the box. Conversely, I'd say he's become a more lethal finisher... so playing as more of an Aguero/Romario style finisher might suit him best.

While he does look absolutely world class at times, after the first two months of last season, he was very frustrating to watch.

This guy is the biggest bitch in football:

Paul Pogba spoke about Juventus and Barcelona rumours. “Until you see me wearing another jersey, I’m under contract with Manchester United.”

The midfielder’s rapport with Jose Mourinho is increasingly tense and there are multiple reports he could walk away from Old Trafford as early as January.

If he were to move on, the only likely options would be Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and a return to Juve.

When speaking to Telefoot while on international duty, the France international did little to calm the waters.

“Until you see me wearing another jersey and smiling, I’m under contract with Manchester United and they are only rumours,” was his reply.

Pogba was also asked about the tension with Mourinho.

“There are little things. Our rapport is the same, one you have between a player and a manager. We have objectives in common, as we both want to win, and that is all that ultimately matters.”

Calciomercato.it suggested today that Pogba could even go to Juventus in an exchange deal with Paulo Dybala, who is valued at least €120m.

Clearly he wants to move on from Manchester, I think he realised he is wasting his best years there

It's not all Mourinho's fault I guess but he is not performing well regardless of the tactics maybe he's just not happy there so it's hard to give everything but he has been like that from day 1 so maybe it's just an attitude problem

He might be a bitch, a prima donna, and an arrogant pompous lowlife scumbag. Call him whatever you want, but Pogba would instantly upgrade our midfield and if we have the slightest opportunity to bring him back, without losing any key players, we shouldn't hesitate.

I'm not his biggest fan, but I really do believe he'd compliment Pjanic very well. If Can turns out the defensive rock we need in midfield then even better, we'd be set with Bentacour sitting on the bench and grabbing time off of all 3 other starting midfielders.
