id like to see a video of all the FKs he took last 2 seasons, because most i saw were very close or went in. but i didnt see even 10% of his games for United, and didnt even check the highlights for more than half of them, so im curious

He shows insane range to intercept the pass and then an unbelievable series of moves to get past multiple defenders and set up an attack. It was an improbable scenario that only he can achieve. If you give him that situation he can come out of it like that maybe 3 out of 10 times. But that's 3 times more than anyone else.

But wait.

Couldn't he have just passed it immediately to Mkhitaryan who is wide open in his line of vision on the left flank, right after he intercepts the ball? If he makes that pass, they continue with a break 10 out of 10 times.

I remember this sort of thing from his time here. Would win ball in midfield then take it past several opposing players with ease creating a chance for a 3 on 3 break or such would burst forward with ball, have great options to play in but would instead shoot from 35+ yards or hold onto the ball himself until the potential for pass was gone. At least in that video he didnt try to do it all himself
