 thats all we need though...one more solid as fuck DM.

I smell a repeat of the great 14/15 season in the air...but this time with us hopefully lifting up the trophy with the big ears...
Absolutely, specially if we get that DM.

As for Pogs, I expect him to fail. In several years we'll see him sold, and not to top clubs. He might be at Inter, Liverpool or some other scum club that will risk reviving his career, he most definitely will not make it to Madrid, or Barca. If by some miracle, Mou gets the best out of him im expecting him to break many hearts like he did tp zizi.

Dunno what I want more, him breaking Manchester fan's hearts a second time, or just full be the first world record fee player to be viewed as a flop throughout Europe. Actually it's the latter I want more

Just look at our financial report:

AGREEMENT WITH MANCHESTER UNITED FOR THE
DEFINITIVE TRANSFER OF THE PLAYER PAUL POGBA
Turin, 9 August 2016
– Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an
agreement
has been finalized with Manchester United Football
Club Limited for the definitive transfer of the registration rights of the player Paul Labile Pogba for a consideration of € 105
million to be paid in two financial years. The consideration may increase of € 5 million on
achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.
The economic effect is positive for about € 72.6 million, net of solidarity subsidy and
auxiliary expenses.

Thanks. I guess his book value was around 30m and maybe some taxes..

And what is solidarity subsidy?

There's a few million in solidarity subsidy that have to go to his previous clubs. Because we had him from 19-23, it's only 3% of the total transfer fee. As a side note, we get 2% of any future transfer he makes because of that same solidarity mechanism, for the 4 years he was here from 19-23.

How do you know it is far from a good deal? Can we at least see how the season plays out first? if we win a CL out of this deal, it's a fantastic deal any way you look at it.
No matter how you look at it, it's shortsighted deal. We replaced a young world class player who could have contributed for the next 8-9 years, at least, with someone who might be able for the next 2-3, at most 4. We needed more long term solution.

His book value was close to 0. IIRC

You are completly right, but its pointless when you consider one thing - he didnt want to stay here.

I seriously doubt that.
See our report from last year. You can find book values of every player in notes. Im not 100% certain on this but from my memory the last time I looked Pogba was valued at few hundred k. What were our expenses when we brough him? Players are valued at cost of purchase.

I've always had a strong dislike of manure, but now more than ever, I want them to crash and burn so bad that they never recover.
Before the Vidal saga, I was more or less neutral. The way their fans acted with that saga (on the internet and irl) made me lose any respect for that club. This saga didn't help.
