Scholes wasn't better. No way. He was brillant, exquisitely talented, but too often injured, and he was actually a quite unstable player. I've seen countless games where played like shit and missed most long passes, but no one noticed.

I'd rather go with Pogba.

Just in Juve over the last the 10 years:

Pirlo
Nedved
Vidal

I would take any of them in their prime over Pogba easily.

Forgot about Pirlo and Xavi lol.

Vidal isn't better. Nedved isn't a CM.

Xavi at this peak was amazing, but Pogba could do the same if he also played for that team - clearly one of the best ever.

Pirlo was more about longevity. And he never had nothing near Pogba's physicality and ability to defend.

And actually, those guys are all about passing.

Pogba has amazing passing AND dribbling. Those guys are genious, but not athletic. Pogba is the most well rounded of them all. He's strongest, fastest, more agile, and at the same time very creative, flair, dribbling, vision, passing...

He's just too complete.
