I agree. But its still a move too soon.

We announce to the world that we want to launch an assault on the CL and we got Pogba asking to leave just so he can earn more sponsorship money from the very popular EPL. Its a stupid and ill-thought out move RIGHT NOW no matter which way you look at it.
That is what I am saying. No need for either parties to do it now if they believe in themselves. Surely we wouldn't spent 90 mils if we are thinking - just another year to win Seria A. We can do that with 11 injuries.

Pogba? E' un giocatore della Juventus, io infatti Pogba l'ho convocato insieme a Evra per domani sera, quindi lunedì ha allenamento qui a Vinovo

Why? What were they doing in the last 3-5 years? Were would they be if Mou's magic doesn't work or, even worse, works but like in Chelsea's 2nd try!
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz look up aforementioned clubs and see if they've ever been in a slump, especially post a figure like Ferguson.

Objectively there's nothing pointing towards Manchester United not becoming competitive again. They got money, fans, media attention, facilities, reputation, appeal, PL, and so fucken on.

Have a look at Barcelona post-1999 as a good example.

I see WC Milan, 8 times CL champion in a slump. I also see Manchurian teams that never competed for CL honors before reaching the semis and being disappointed...

So a lot HAS changed. Would they manage to do it? I don't know, but I doubt it. Why? Cause the top personal is retarded for once and second - they are pressed for cash. More so than we do - believe it or not.

Teams like Manchester United don't stay down for long. They have way too much financial muscle and appeal, and they are still one of top 3 destinations for any player in the world, irrespective of their recent results. The fact that they are still the most visible and viable team in the most popular league in the world speaks volumes. You can't buy that type of appeal.

In fact you can. And if they are - it is a testament for exactly that. If the whole world wasn't listening to propaganda we'd be far better off, but also would be in an unknown world for most.

That just means they have the resources, not a plan. Buying everything in their way won't save them if they're poorly managed. I mean they could definitely get back to the top, but all the resources in the world doesn't make it a formality.

Well, a simple explanation that the world runs on hype and the fuel is very dangerous. Barcelona were nothing before the Messi-era, now according to some they are worth more than any other club. The world is a fickle place, say Juve wins 2 CL's in a row - we'd be close or named the most expensive club.

Be that as it may, that is just the way it is. Even with their financial issues, they are still going to be one of the most prolific teams in the world. It would have to take a major, major fuckup on the part of their accounting departments for them to be in violation of any FFP rules, as paper thin as they are to begin with.

Sponsors won't let it get to that point. Chevrolet would just renegotiate their deal with them, as would Adidas. They wouldn't want their interests threatened

It might not make it a formality, but they have the financial resources to keep trying until they get it right. Very few, if any clubs out there, have the financial ability to do so.
