I don't give a fuck about marketing potential. I've said this 1000 times. Who the fuck cares.

You know who are marketable players? Mostly a bunch of fucking human turds like C Ronaldo, Neymar, (and perhaps Pogba), etc.

I'd still rather have Higuain and Pjanic. And results will market this team. Winning a CL and being a regular in the Semi's will market Juve. Fuck
Millions of fans around the world care. With players like Pogba and Dybala you may attract new bunch of followers, some of them will stick around and become real supporters. More fans equals more money and more money gives you larger margin for an error and possibility to bring better players, increasing your chance for silverware and so on... People become fans of certain club because they enjoy watching great, talented players. Pogba fits the bill, being the best player of his generation and highly marketable.

Yes, and that's one of the reasons these clubs are ahead of us in terms of finances. They constantly have superstars that generate insane interest around the world. Started with Figo, Zidane, Beckham, then Ronaldo, or Barca with Ronaldinho and Messi, Neymar. I want to see Juve in this bracket and the fastest way is to retain players like Pogba.

but the initial argument was about who of the 2 is better (or was better at 22), and who would be the more important player for our team. while i agree its hard to compare 2 completely different players, its still possible to determine the better player imo. it was also about does Pogba deserve same wages as Higuain and somehow it came to this so its better to stop the argument before we start arguing Khedira vs Hamsik or something like that. the points you said here i agree with, Higuain is overpaid yes, hes an upgrade to Mandzukic yes, and Pogba is still inconsistent, yes (not as much last 2 seasons as he used to be). id still say Pogba is the better player now and will be much better in the future if he doesent go to United
You can't compare. This is what I wrote earlier:
It's a stupid discussion, really. Pogba is still young and is inconsistent (still the best, though). And I reckon he'll need 2-3 seasons to be a player who carries a team. Before this saga, he would've been a 100% goner next season.

But it has given us an opportunity to give this team what it's lacking in Europe: Better attack and more creativity in midfield. When Pogba is sold, Marotta should buy a class dm and a class am. Imo, this is the only way we won't weaken the midfield.

Yes. But those same fans are laughing at the rich clubs for having such 'fake' fans. Now all of a sudden people want them here.

Pogba deserves higher salary than Higuain, for what he brings on and off the pitch to this team.

Can we just hold off talking shit about a player that is still ours and as much as you talk bad about him he chose us in free agency and we will have had a great player for 4 years and get 120 milion in return. He owes us nothing because he has given a lot to our club. Id hate to see him go but he isnt refusing a renewal or badmouthing us or anything else so lets give some respect back his way. Its hard to get on here right now

Bro you are bitching because you don't want pogba to go but if he was your agent you would be happy because he brought you such a high offer
Would I? how do you know? Maybe I prefer to be where I am to meet my ambitions rather than go for money which I don't need because my current employers are paying me a lot as well as meeting my ambitions.

That's like saying I'd move to some 3rd world country if you paid me loads - Why the fuck would I?

We need these kind of fans unfortunately, this would mean we're taking the final step there is as a club. We can laugh all we want at other clubs having them, but that's a fact.

yep, we gave Gerardo 7M, dont see a reason why we wouldnt give Labile atleast 7.5M. i think we are willing to give him that if he extends too, but as we stated today, other off field factors are driving him to the EPL rather than a higher salary
