What makes you sure another season would be mediocre? Because he would be sad and depressed being denied the United move? I doubt his perfomance would regress because of that. He has an excellent shot at CL this year with us, which is not even possible at Utd. It all makes sense.

I don't think it's been done for as long as some may think, more like we had no intention of selling until United came in with an offer too good to turn down and the hold up all revolves around ironing out the small details and the fat man's cut

I have no explanation tbh. But if adidas planned all of this and this whole transfer saga was a marketing scheme, it would go down in history as one of the best. Highly unlikely though.

well Chiellini and Marchisio are up and running in the video, alongside sandro and khedira. I believe their part was filmed weeks ago, maybe even before marchisio's injury. Pjanic's part was filmed after he signed.

Nope. I've said many times he was, imo, the best CM in football over the last 2-3 months of the year.

That doesn't mean I can't also state how utterly rubbish he was for us in the first 3 months, and how mediocre he was at Euros.

They make endless excuses for his poor performances, and it's all the "team's" fault when he is poor... and then apparently all the team's successes are due to him when he is playing well.
