Im not disagreeing. I cant quite wrap my head around the fact that youre not a fan of Pogba. Pure magic like player.
There are various factors.
I like him but I meant to say I'm not a huge fanboy.

First off, he never commits his future here. Secondly, he has never shown the consistency others in our team have shown. Thirdly most importantly imo he gets a lot of unwarranted hype without achieving nothing when other players who perform better than him go under the radar.

Those Zidane comparisons from French media were pure cringe.

Talking about magic, Dybala and Pirlo have mesmerized me more.

I guess we can overlook Gonzalo being frustrated over playing with scrubs like Callejon and Mertens at Napoli all season long, if we can overlook Paul being frustrated over playing with mediocrity for a couple months at Juve.
Napoli team is a functional one that didnt change half its starting lineup prior to the season beginning

My perspective on this is that youre a bit spoiled. Ill never forget the way he single handedly raped Napoli at the age of 19. He makes me want to watch him regardless what team he is playing for.

what about the 2nd Bayern game? no Marchisio in sight, Pogba wasnt an useless player that couldnt keep the ball for 10 seconds. or lets go a little back to the 1st Bayern game where Marchisio was our worst mid up until he got subbed for Hernanes. lol at your clueless opinion
Comparing 1 game to a whole half a season where Marchisio was so essential to our midfield :ratcafe:

Most of the rational posters in here would say our midfield was struggling to keep the ball without Marchisio but continue with your fanboyism.

Comparing Pogba to marchisio is useless. Without Marchisio in our MF against Bayern we would have been trampled, Without Pogba we would have struggled to do anything offensively.

Zizi, tell me honestly,

Do you honestly don't think our midfield wasn't struggling without Marchisio in the early months of the season ?

Why are you nitpicking the Bayern games now ?
see Nikola's post

Marchisio keeps the midfield ticking, Pogs provides goals and assists and puts a solid defensive shift in addition.

Ok so not sure if anybody noticed all of these clues in adidas marketing campaign, but I'll just state them here.

- Obviously, Raiola tweeted out that there is no agreement, lot's of blah blah blah.

- Adidas respond buy uploading a video where pogba has 3 stars shaved in his head, and a big Blah over the Man U logo.

- Pogba today uploaded and Instagram picture with the caption "Focus", and Adidas then says in Juve's tweet that they are "Focused" on adding new trophies. Also to be noted that the commentator in the juve ad can be heard saying in Italian if Pogba is worth all of this money.

- Then today as well, Raiola tweets out saying there is no deal, and that journalists are parrots.

- Adidas then puts out a video where two birds covered in the word Blah are eating a ball.

Marchisio was injured in the first leg.

But you seriously can't deny Marchisio's presence is what brought us back to having a stable midfield and dominating games as a result which also allowed Pogba to thrive.

Marchisio is our most important midfielder in our system.

we were struggling, no denying this, i said it in one of my replies to PI. but the reasons are so much more than just missing Marchisio. Pogba was out of form since his injury in February last season, we were missing Marchisio, Pirlo and Vidal in midfield, without Barzagli and Licht in defense and Tevez upfront, we were changing between 3 formations (one of which was a non functional 433) for each game, we had bunch of new players that needed to settle in. that was a complete mess and it needed time for everything to tick. Padoin as regista was the worst of all, we couldnt keep the ball long enough to create anything really. ofcourse Marchisio is an extremely important player for us but to put that comeback of us solely on him (and Dybala) is unfair to the other players. once we got Marchisio and Barzagli back, Pogba started catching form, we found a working formation and the new players settled in, we started kicking ass. you could see in games Marchisio wasnt playing further into the season that the team had no problem dealing with Serie A teams anymore. so yes, we missed Marchisio (and others) which was a huge blow, but not the only factor in Pogba and the rest of the team sucking
