Marketing asset. There it is again. Nothing makes a club more marketable than winning the most watched games in the world playing entertaining football.

We have Dybala who's younger, more handsome and more humble than Pogba. He reminds me of Del Piero. Who is a big reason a lot of fans fell in love with Juve. Del Piero didn't need to individualize himself by being flash on social media, his feet always did the talking. Pirlo is another good example this.

Lol I'm gonna be so heartbroken if he leaves after all this shit storm. It's been a fucking rollercoaster.
Heartbroken ffs :ratcafe:

Even if he somehow stays this year, he's for sure going to fuck off next year. So not sure what's so heartbreaking about this. I had already accepted that he's fucking off back in June. I don't want to deal another year of this again. Please let him take his money and let us move on. You can't be toying with fans like this. Cant tolerate this garbage for another year.

:agree:

Cristiano led ManU to a CL title and won the Ballon d'Or at 23. Scored 42 goals that season. 8 goals in 11 CL games.

Pogba, meanwhile was injured for our entire CL Final run in 2015... Played like $#@! for France at Euros. And has only ever shone in Serie A so far... and apart from the final 2-3 months of this past season has never been close to being our best player. He was never even a top 3 player on our team before this season.

How can he already be the best CM in football because of one single stretch this year, when we were already out of the CL and had already played the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the league. FFS, over the course of this past season he wasn't even our best player... Dybala. I'd place Bonucci over him in terms of best players of last season too.
I would say Buffon was POTY follewed by Dybala and Pogba.

Even in final 3 months of the season when Pogba was on fire Gigi outperformed him in that period.

Pogba is an absolutely fantastic player, who has a good shot at becoming the best player in the world one day. It doesn't change the fact that he isn't yet the best player in the world, nor even close to it, just because he had a fantastic final 3 months of the season.

Coincidentally, we had already played Roma and Napoli return fixtures, and been knocked out of the CL when he really started to dominate.

He's nowhere near consistent enough to be proclaimed as this world class superstar above and beyond all other players in our team. He's not that good yet. He will be one day in all likelihood, but saying he's already there is just stupid.
I wasn't talking about you. You've been pretty reasonable with your posts regarding Pogba. I even agree with most of what you say.

I just thinks it's funny some people actually hate him .

Pogba > Higuain for me

Most people that would prefer Higs now would get laughed upon several months ago for this suggestion. Ridiculous.

It's always hard to compare GK performance to other players.

But I'd probably go:

1)Dybala
2)Buffon
3a)Bonucci
3b)Pogba

And Marchisio would probably be on that Bonucci-Pogba tier, without his injury.

Agreed. I don't really see how he has done anything yet to deserve hatred. People could at least wait to see how this unfolds.
