Pirlo and Tevez essentially retired from top flight football. Hardly just letting our top players leave to big teams. Llorente was coming off an appallingly bad season and was not asking to leave. We bought Mandzu and wanted to get rid of him.

That guy was clearly a troll. Hence why he is banned now. And you are defending that nonsense.

People need to grow some balls. Who the fuck cares if Pogba is leaving. Good for him. Even better for us if we're getting 110M+

We had 4 years of continuity through the end of the Pirlo-Conte era... And now we are remaking the team for Allegri over the last 2 summers. Refreshing it with young talent like Pjaca, Rugani, Dybala, Gabriel, Lemina... And finally getting world class players in their prime like Higuain, Pjanic, Sandro.

Our management is doing a brilliant job of it.

As I said, people need to grow some balls.
Not defending anyone. Just saying there is a philosophy that I don't agree with, and that is to let players leave when they ask. The point of remake here is actually a pertinent one, because essentially, that is what last summer was about. And that is what a couple of summers from now will be about when the old guard moves out. This summer was just about adding the cream of the crop, with our core need gaps.

This isn't about letting Pogba, the superstar leave, it's about letting Pogba, the key midfielder leave. I have no qualms on cashing in whatsoever, but it would suit us much more had we let him leave next season than this one, because the impetus is essentially Europe, not Serie a. Now, when we go looking for a replacement, Allegri has his work cut out. And this is assuming Mandzukic doesn't ask to leave, coz if he does, you're looking at an all new attack, save Dybala. This is an addition to a new midfield, with its own dynamic. My hope is we can bring Asa back to a healthy enough level so that he hits the ground running. (Consider the big name exits, sales or otherwise. A club cannot keep churning st that rate and expect success at the highest level. We can contextualise each of those exits and say some were past it, but if for two seasons running, your best midfielders have a passage out, then you're shooting yourself in the foot.)

It's great to keep building on a project, and laying the foundations for the future, but sometimes we got to be still, to give the team continuity. In fact, the season we made the CL final, was the one in which we made the least market moves if my memory serves me correctly. I love the players we have bought this summer, pretty much everybody's wish list, but that does not detract from the fact that our project for Europe would've been better served with less changes.

Why do you think I am defending trolls? Don't care about those cretins bruv, but if there is a point I pick up on, I think it's worth discussing.
