So Claudio is out for a couple of months and Khedira is made out of tissue paper

Who are the 3 CMs?

A combination of: Pjanic, Lemina, Sturaro, Asamoah

You don't have a clue what Pogba might or might not have said. None of us do. Don't be a Neapolitan bitch about these things.

It isn't.
Alright, let's keep assuming none of the reports are real

You're saying he's not? I don't know, looking at comments his entourage and also some fans, here and there, make about his greatness, his endless abilities (like passing in midfield), his excellent vision :)lol::lol:), and also saying that he's the only right replacement for Pogba and make this argument sound like he and Pogba are on the same level... Based on all of these, I can say he's overhyped. Of course not to mention the ridiculous amount of praise he gets from German-based papers.
Kroos is one of the world's best midfielders. Underrated if anything.

That could indeed happen - but imo not with Pogba money alone, Zaza, Pereyra would need to go too.

Pogba money has been spent on Higuain + Pjanic - not a bad deal, even I'd preferred to keep Pogba tbh

The point is we haven't spent anywhere close to what we can yet. Even without the Zaza sale. We're basically at 0 net expenditure for the summer, if Pogba is sold.

We can easily afford to spend well over 50M into the negative this summer as the post I quoted states, and as our mercato history of the last 5 years illustrates. So how has our transfer kitty been blown already? It clearly hasn't.

It's about as official as Higuain was three days ago imo
So many things could have happened in those three days. Higuain was also guaranteed trophies basically. He'll win Serie A and have a big chance of winning the CL. Pogba might finish top 4 and wouldn't even play CL.
I still hope he's not money cash ho's.

Really do.
Raiola is a good manager but makes his players move around a lot (even if he says he doesn't, just look at Zlatan).

:agree: The imbeciles they are. Laughing at everyone who even dared to give the benefit of the doubt to all this commotion, like they're the ones in the know, and everyone else is just naive.
And now, they act like nothing's happened, and they haven't changed color like the hypocrites they are.
Great post.At least not trying to convince the rest that this was a necessary and very, very smart move like in Vidal's case.

I hope we keep Pogba but if he leaves and interested in winning the golden ball Man Utd is a better place than Real since Real has Ronaldo who will continue being the star of the show in the next few years!
Zlatan could do the same at Man Utd but...
1. Zlatan is older than C.Ronaldo and probably play 2 more years and then retire
2. Pogba can make the impact there and shine even though there is a Zlatan in front of him
3. Its only a 2 men duel Pogba vs Zlatan!

At Real madrid theres Ronaldo Bale and will also need to share the spotlight more than he will have to at Man Utd

The best chance for the Golden Ball is here with us though he won`t be getting these crazy wages here...
Maybe he will be able to win the "Manchester ballon Dor"....because ManU has a LONG way to go before they can offer Pogba a shot at the real BallonDor.

It would be not crazy to say that Dybala and Higuain have way more chances at a ballon dor than Pogba in the coming 3 years.

 couldn't have said it better yet because of the higuain transfer I think a lot of fans have just been sugarcoated.
Just the Pogba hardcore fans cannot see the faults in him and go all rage when someone points out them.

Its a shame we are losing him, but is not like we are losing Zidane on his prime. he is good, very..but we can try to ptach things up with the money which is not impossible. in paper he was a beast, but players like Dybala and tevez are way more influential for us than him on the field.

He is great I agree but you made it sound like we are talking about Messi or Ronaldo.
 At least not "120+ fukin millions" level

That midfielder is Pjanic. Arguably more influential offensively than Pogba.
At least way more offensivelt effective. Ill give him that. But he doesnt have the physicality of Paul. He will not need it anyways if we set up the team properly.

It was official the moment Paul accepted Utd
And this could have been at the very beggining o the mercato...because the gossip of the "southamerican champion" is like a month old.

@baggio

Imagine we bought Vidal back now.
The thought actually crossed my mind this afternoon. It wouldn't cost us more than 35m. And knowing the player, he would happily take a pay cut to sit back down in that midfield. Fucking beauty that he is. But outside of that, Matic and Herrera. Though I have a sneaky feeling, Beppe has his mind made up for Witsel.

That's why I said owe him TOO. I know Juve made him the player he is today. And I am pretty sure he knows it too. The fact he hasn't said anything in order acknowledge the club is 100% Raiola's work. Paul is a young guy. First it was only France on his mind and then, after losing the final it was all about his holidays and clearing his mind. And rightly so. You can be 100% certain that then, because of the ongoing negotiations, Raiola told him to absolutely say nothing. Of course he listens to him. On occasions like the ESPY awards, when confronted with the Juve jersey, he spoke very highly of the club. I am certain he is thankful and would never speak ill of Juve. No hard feelings...
I think as fans we try and give a bit more leeway to our idols. Truth here is that Pogba is making as much of the choice here and Raiola is having us or him believe. At the end of the day he's going to be the one living week in week out spending those 300000 pounds. He wouldn't go there if he didn't want to, no matter what Raiola said. At 18, you could tell me he's a lost kid. At 23, he's already one of the most, if not the most marketable players in the world. He's not lost any longer. Knows which way the wind blows IMO.

Asking price 50mil

Herrera 35-40

Where do i sign
Herrera was costing Napoli about 25-30m. We can pay Porto an extra 5m coz they will be hot in the Pogba money, and call it a fucking deal. This one shd close ASAP.

I have a feeling it's going to be Herrera + Witsel.

Conte said just yesterday that Matic was unsellable and he sees him as an absolute top-midfielder for Chelsea.

Herrera will be great. Witsel will be a waste of 25M. Still hope an EPL pips us to him though.

Beppe finally taking Moggi's advice to heart. Herrera is now the missing piece.

"The feeling I get is that Higuain will remain at Napoli," Moggi told Radio Crc. "If I were Juventus, I'd have no doubts at all. I'd sell Pogba immediately and then straight away sign Higuain.

"I'd go to Porto, put Herrera in Pogba's place and nobody could tell the difference.

"Higuain is a far more decisive player. The chances of winning the Champions League would increase and he'd represent a substantial change."

I'm not saying he's not good. My argument is he's not on par with Paul and bringing him absolutely do not fill Pogba's hole in our midfield. More precisely if his hypothetical transfer is not accompanied by some other signings, then we certainly didn't improve our squad after Pogba's departure.
