Yeah thats what I would expect but we all know how hard we find it sometimes to sell our deadwood and I expect it will be the same this year. Anyway we would sell Pereyra, Asa and Hernanes so we still have Pjanic, Khedira, Marchisio, Lemina and Sturaro adding two more (who are probably expecting to be first team players) is an overkill unless we plan on playing with 4 CMs/DMs/AMs.

We need 8 CM's ideally.

Two of our first choice midfielders can't be relied upon this season because of injuries. (Marchisio and Khedira)

it's getting late for Pogba.
And we didn't buy a substitute yet.
If by the end of July we don't get 1 cdm Pogba wll stay (or at least i'll get more optimistic about it)

Imo they knew that we will sell Pogba at the start of the window and thats why we bought Pjanic, as he will be his replacement. I think we will only buy another one if after the Pogba sale we will be able to offload Asa and Pereyra. I agree that Khedira is not reliable and Marchisio will be out for a long time but I cant see us starting season with 8 CMs with 5 of them having ambitions of beign starters (Khedira, Pjanic, Matic, Witsel and in few months Marchisio).
Thats of course if we sell Pogba, still hope he stays and finally finds himself in the big games.
