We can't keep selling or losing our best players every year. Big money or not. Not that we can do much when clubs are throwing around €13m wages, but it's still massively disappointing.
I think we can and if we want to act like a big club we will. Otherwise all this talk about being up there with Barcelona, Real and Bayern, retaining our best players and aiming for the CL has been horseshit.

Exactly my point. We won't win this title if we sell or lose big players every year.

Pirlo, Tevez, Vidal, Morata, Coman (lol), Cuadrado and now possibly Pogba. Wayyyyy too much turnover of top quality players.

Do we even know if any of this $#@! is true? Why are people panicking over some BS reports?! Sports Journalists have lost so much credibility over the years, constantly spewing BS. Apparently, and according to numerous reports, we have already sold Pogba to United twice this summer, and once to Madrid.

I don't see us selling him, at least not this year. He is still only 23, and Madrid can come in with an offer in 2018 when he is 2 years older and more mature (after the WC). Pogba is still young, and is highly unlikely to lose value over the next 3-5 years. I don't think our management are dumb enough to lose Pogba in the same summer we lose Morata and Cuadrado, especially having lost Pirlo, Tevez, Vidal, and Coman last season. All those guys were either getting on in years, or dispensable (with the exception being Morata). You can't claim that you are targeting the CL and that you are not a selling club, and then go out and sell your best player (arguably the best midfielder in the world). We have already weakened our attack with the Morata sale (we have yet to find a replacement). I don't see us doing the same to our midfield, regardless of offers or any other BS.
A lot of press reports are BS, I agree. However, these rumors are so intense that many times there is always truth in them buried in the sheer quantity of them.

By the way, did you read what Moggi said: "I'd sell Pogba and get Higuain. Higuain is by far the more decisive player and your chances of winning the champions league have increased substantially. I would then get Hector Herrera from Porto and nobody would know the difference".

Yeah, we choose to believe TS, GdS and others when they say we sold Pogba and not when Messi is a sogno possible :disagree:

I don't see Bayern offering 13 million net, and yet they don't lose players year in year out. I think we are attempting to follow/implement their model. If we can offer 7-8 million net, I don't think our top players would leave us for a 20% increase in salary. I don't believe the figures being touted. Ibra gets around 12 million net now, and that is because he is on a short term contract, so that is sustainable. Outside of Messi and Ronaldo, I don't think any top player gets over 10 million net per annum.

Kinda disappointing we're always taking 1 step forward 1 step back every year. With Pjanic here, I was hoping he'd be the final touch on an excellent team.

I know its difficult to say no to somebody throwing big money at you for a player, but when will it stop? What if Dybala keeps on developing next year. We'd sell him as well if somebody threw 100m at us?

I sincerely hope we don't stand there in a few years down the road with all of our current young players performing in different top while thinking 'what if'.
I was so hoping to see the new era of lead by Dybala and Pogba(and Morata) leading this new Juve.
