(1)

(2) They aren't. Matuidi certainly isn't. When he is playing with an actual regista he has no problems being great at PSG be it with verratti and motta or motta and rabiot. Diaz certainly isnt more creative.

(3) Thank you. What we are disagreeing about is whether he didnt do well because of a lack of skill to play that role with these midfielders or because the pressure got to him. I am saying it is both. I don't blame him for the former because that wasn't his call it was DD. I blame him for the latter. He didn't look like he was even trying today neither in creating play nor in defending. There is a difference between being involved in play but things not working out for whatever reason and walking around looking bored.
(4) Pirlo would have stringed that midfield together majestically. Pogba was supposed to do that but didn't do it at all and didn't look like he was trying to influence the game. Sissoko was fighting and almost worked. Payet was fighting but failed. Pogba was not fighting he was spectating in comparison.

(5) It would have helped but I am not sure Vidal would have made them win the match. When I say imagine vidal in that role I am not saying France would have won. With a young Pirlo or a Marchisio or a modric they might have won but I doubt they would have won with vidal. However, I am saying vidal would have been fucking everywhere and fighting till the last minute. He would have done much more defensively and would have tried to contribute more offensively because that is his character. The point is not that vidal would have made them win, it is that vidal would have fought much harder and pushed his mates forward regardless of whether they ended losing or winning. Neither of them is suitable for the deep playmaking role (though pogba has a better passing range). But Vidal fights like an animal while pogba was a lama today. Put fucking guttoso there who cant pass 5m away and you'd have seen more fighting and leadership from that.

So again, yes DD gave him a bad role. yes he didn't impress and part of it is because of that. But his performance was disgraceful from a mental standpoint. Had he shown up today and gave his 100% the way sissoko did despite his limitations, then maybe france would have still lost. but at least then no one can blame him. You played me out of position in a role that doesnt suit me and I gave it my 100%. I'd have been proud of his performance if he had done that but he didn't. He did not try his best in that role. Vidal would have. Pogba tried his best as an LM for us and no one blamed him for not being a genius winger. Marchisio tried his best as a RW against Real (conte days) and no one blamed him even though he wasn't robben-good at it. We recognized he gave it his all and respected him for that. Today he did not. Even compared to the rest of his tournament today is a whole lower level of motivation from him.
damn, you surely like taking parts out of sentences out and quoting them, let me try it

2.
3. good to see we agree
4. yes, Payet is a failure

Vidal probably would have been carded in the first 10 minutes like he was in our CL final. Euro refs don't give leeway to players like the South American refs do.
Vidal would have looked even more clueless next to Matuidi and Sissoko. none of these guys is capable of making a pass beyond 20 meters

Didier really screwed up playing him out of position since first match vs Romania and it was obvious, Payet pretty much saved this NT's shameful performances but couldn't do more and when you play someone like Pogs out of position then you get what you deserve.

You can see Raiola trying hard to convince Pogba to leave so he can get a huge pay check. I mean, honestly, if you are Pogba why would you choose to go to United now? Better off staying at Juve. I can understand if its Real or Barca perhaps but don't get why he would choose to go back to the club he left.

Romeo Agresti: Man United's offer for Pogba is €100m + Darmian but Juve have no intention of selling Paul.

if this falls through we should all visit Massimo Di Culos twitter and mock the shit out of him. i always held him for a reliable insider, and this Pogba saga is the ultimate test for him

THIS THIS THIS. Honestly does my friggin head in, "Owwwww but hes so expensive", No sh!t the best players cost the most and guess what 5.1Bn has just been pumped into the league, some people need to get seriously real. This window is a new stepping stone in the Premier League. Palace are about to sign Benteke for 32m, Have any of you been to Selhurst park (Its a dive) its amazing how these kinds of clubs are improving and I love it. The best players should play in the PL and we are top of that tree in terms of revenue. The days of 16m for Kagawa are well and truly dead.

All of your points are fantasy I never once went on social media or the office and said "guess what, we just signed Schwienstieger for 9m!" If I did I would be met with "erm ok, is he any good now?" Now when I go into the office and say "Did you see Martial at the weekend" NO-ONE says "yeah but he will end up costing 80m, gotta balance the books...." its utter non-sense. Pogba would have an Insane impact on the club that alone is worth 100m.

In terms of the best available, not sureif you have had a look around, the next best is Gomes (who is available) so why not go for the best? Pogba is our player, he is one of us. He is a supreme athlete and a wonderful attacking midfielder who will be world class in 2 years time, he will have a similar impact to Lampard. Would you rather have that for his premium or James McCarthy who is a Box-To-Box who scores rarely but has no special qualities for around 30m?

Our budget is the biggest in the world, people forget we are currently operating at a higher turnover than Madrid, we are the richest club in the world, you dont get to boast about that if you don't spend any of it like a tight fisted old retired business man, there is a famous saying "you have to spend money to make money".

The FM/FIFA generation consider United as irrelevant, when you play those games online etc its PSG/ManCity/Madrid/Juve and Barca they play as since they have a collection of the best players. Who wants to play as Schwienstieger/Morgan and Herrera when you can play as Veratti/ Pogba/ Kroos?.

Lets all take a step back, perhaps JUST PERHAPS. Our new manager Jose Mourinho wants to win the league, wants to give a big F U to City, Madrid, Chelsea the money players in the world and actually build a team that can dominate games and have a sprinkle of flair. Tell me, someone, please, for the love of all that is good why the hell we wouldnt want to sign Pogba and build an elite midfield? even for 100m of our poisonous owners precious pension funds? Isnt it about time we stopped pissing about and actually took the initiative and destroyed the other clubs financially, commercially and most importantly on the field.

Sorry Rant over. P.S I don't mean this to come across as a personal attack, its just this has been winding me right up.

There is no pride in not leveraging our past success and revenue to beat the opposition.
The Fifa-argument :D

He's Juve's highest paid player, and earns 90k euros a week. Our reported offer gets him up to 250k a week. There's no way they're matching that.
Stupid cunts don't know the difference between gross and net salary. They've been fed with utter bs by their media for years, that made them think other clubs pay pittance to their top players. For RC retards capable of reading: Pogba is on 180k Euros gross per week.
