My only fear is that one day he will be jus too good for us to handle his value in today´s market. If he becomes much better than he is now (which could be very possible from what we saw in his evolution this season), and becomes head and shoulders the best midfielder in football, or the best ever.... his wages and whatever else will have to reflect that. Its logical.

Messi is the best and he earns the best money. Ronaldo is the best and he earns gazzilions too. If pogba urns into the best he will deserve to be paid like the best.

I just hope his love for juve is enought to keep him quiet... but lets be real.. he seems to be ambitious...if he cant achieve results here (CL,Ballondor, higher wages)..he will look elsewhere.

Next season all points for him to turn into and even scarier monster. I think the next season will be his last one with us, so we better enjoy him this upcoming season folks. I know this is said every summer.... but now im really seeing real potential in him to turn into a one of a kind player.

How we can deal with that?

After Marchisio's injury, Pogba staying for another season (at the very least) was always going to happen.

Pay him those big bucks. Make him our highest paid player and face of the team. And he'll stay here for years.

La Stampa and Gazzetta dello Sport claim Juventus and Paul Pogba will decide on his future within the next three weeks.

The midfielder arrived on a free transfer after his contract with Manchester United expired in 2012 and is now worth in the region of €100m.

His current contract in Turin runs until June 2019, but the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain all want the player.

According to today’s editions of both La Stampa and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have set a deadline to decide on his future, as Pogba’s departure would force a radical shift of transfer strategy.

He has three weeks to accept a contract renewal or opt to walk away from Turin.

The plan from Juventus is to extend his contract to June 2020, increasing the wages from €4.5m per season to €6m plus bonuses.

Another part of the plan is to move Pogba from a midfield role to more of a trequartista behind the strikers, seeing as he already wears the Number 10 jersey.

It would allow him to play closer to the goal and focus more on providing assists and scoring.
hmmmmm

And you're wondering why Scottish has you down as a (part-time) troll :p
:D He's right on the line between trolling and sarcasm. @Klin's posts are pure poetry.

As for Pogba I'd be willing to try him as a trequartista but we definitely shouldn't force it if he's no good at it just because he has the number 10 jersey.

I wouldn't mind him an Gomes exchanging positions during the game could be hard to pick them up if they did.
At the beggining of the season he was failing hard trying to dribble everyone in the 3/4...but like i have said many times... if he find the wasy tod o things without showboating, he wopuld be a terrific Treq. IN the last months of the campaign the guy improved a lot and started to play with composure and responsability instead of trying to dribble past everyone and being a whiny bitch.

If he can do this step in his career...hecould become in the most terrific Treq ever: Stamina, Physical presence,Pace, good height, defensive capabilities, dribble, vision, shoot.

The guy is almost complete

Rest your troubled minds. There's zero chance of Pogba leaving this summer.

Think most agree that there's no chance of him moving to England.

Contrary to popular belief, Real isn't a player either. Raiola didn't have good things to say about them, and Real needs a different kind of mid (Casemiro's upgrade), not another mezzala. They already have Kroos and Modric, who're best in that role.

Barca is the obvious choice except they've no money atm to buy Pogba. And Iniesta is still going strong and is their starting mezzala. It makes more sense to try and bring Pogba in in a year or two. Pogba and Rakitic are dissimilar players who're best in different roles. Pogba can't replace Rakitic. He's wanted as Iniesta's successor.

So, there's no better club that can afford Polpo atm. On top of that, our salary cap will be raised and Pogba will be given a raise. And he's reported as being very happy in Turin. The club is also making moves to try and win the CL. Pogba has no reason to leave this summer and has the incentives to remain.

What is mezzala? You sure it's not a type of cheese?
