i always said Pogba is better on the left than as a trequartista, but that isnt as defensive as you say. none of them is a go to creative guy, but all of them are capable of creating something. add Dybala to that and you get a team that is not "ultra defensive".

playing Pogba on the left with Marchisio central and Khedira on the right with Pereyra as trequartista makes more sense though
Neither Asamoah nor Khedira can create in any semi meaningful sense. Marchisio sometimes has good moments but as you said is not a go to guy. Pogba is a goal threat but not a play maker either. Adding Pereyra (Rabbit didnt have him) is an improvement but not by much.

Last season we managed in games without both Pirlo and Pogba but we had an on fire Tevez and Morata. This season its Dybala which has to be incredible to be able to equal Tevez at his best. Also Morata has to stay just as good but thats not as critical because Mandzukic is also a reliable player.

We have upgraded from llorente to Mandzukic but certainly downgraded from Dybala to Tevez (again Id be really surprised and crazy happy if he can equal tevez's best form), Pirlo and Vidal to Khedira and Asamoah. These are downgrades offensively and defensively but hopefully only temporary ones (Pogba, Morata, dybala, Rugani will grow every year). A great AM would really balance things out.

no, we should look at last seasons one. we had no issues with Vidal last season, even when Pirlo wasnt playing. ofcourse, one can say Tevezs presence helped, but we still managed to play great in the attack with a weaker Vidal. Khedira for Germany always was one of the most active players in offense before his injury (not saying he is better than Vidal, but he is not exactly a Gattuso), Pogba is more experienced and will have more responsibility on him, as well as Marchisio. this can definitely work, i cant wait to see how Allegri will set this up.
This is Tevez at the best of his career. These are pretty big shoes to fill.

I am looking forward for Pogba's growth. I hope marchisio doesnt regress to his old self.

I think Pogba could be brilliant behind the forwards BUT in order to use him there we will need a new CM with organizing skills as we have one destroyer in Khedira and one well rounded player in Marchisio
In that case I say go for Verratti!

--------Dybala Morata/Mandzukic
--------------Pogba---------------
--------Marchisio--Khedira
-------------Verratti--------------
A.Sandro-Chiellini-Bonnuci-Licht
--------------Buffon--------------

Asamoah our cover for Sando/CM positions
Evra our cover for Sandro
Rugani cover for defence
Morata and Mandzukic rotating as I believe Dybala will be fundamental even if not Tevez level
Neto as a cover for Buffon

I believe in a team like that to reach the later stages
1 year later we should look for someone like Cavani to take Morata`s place as he is very overrated!

It's basically my PES formation from weeks ago:

--------------Mandzukic---
---Morata------------------
---------------Dybala------
------Pogba----------------
-----------------Khedira---
---------Marchisio---------

@Osman :D
Haha that's how I play too! Dybala little higher and more to the right, but basically it, very centralised play. Frustrates my brothers and they accuse me of cheating lol.

I still am of the belief that he sees what is going on around him, and he thinks that the club is being built around him, and that he will be the marquee player, the centerpiece.

I feel that this will convince him to stay.

Let's all hope that is the case.

His interview has me wondering what he would be able to do as an AM behind the strikers. ::hustini2::

Buffon, Chiellini, Marchisio, Licht, Mandzukic...they are all leaders.
From the old players it is Buffon and Bonucci for me. I don't see Marchisio as a leader in the sense that drives the team but a leader as a coach on the field. Lichtsteiner is a nut case. Mandzukic, I hope so because we need someone up front.

The player who's thread we are in, has actually shown plenty of leadership qualities despite his age, seen him countless times take his teammates in his arms and talk to them, calmreassure them, encouraging fella. Lots of times to Vidal, Morata, Pereyra etc.

Loved how he consoled Pirlo in the final, you would think the roles would be reversed, the super iconic old legend calming down the youngster, but Paul seems to be quite empathic towards his teammates, small gestures, but there when he is needed.

Marchisio is a decent leadership material, he is someone they all respect and understand he is someone who truly gets what needs to be done to succeed as a Juve player.

Licht is far from a leader material IMO, way too violatile and is more likely to become a pain in the ass towards his teammates when this get rough then lead them.

The night when Pogba went from being a man to a leader of men :touched:

At the end of the day, the agent works for the player, not the other way around
in an ideal world yes but raiola also works for his pocket too
