no tevez never said that and Vidal was never assured by the team that they wanted to build a squad around him, Marotta has said a million times that Pogba is an essential building piece
Why are you changing the discussion? We're talking about his desire to stay. You base it on his words, which were less committal than both Tevez and Vidal's.

Tevez said he intended to see out his contract which ended next year. Vidal said he wanted to remain at Juve for a long time again. What did Pogba say?

Also, Marotta said this transfer window our objective was to hold on to our stars... Two down.

Raiola looking to get his wages bumped to 6.5m a year-TS

This is so going to end in tears and bitterness :touched:
We can afford that TBH, but Beppe's hands will be tied next season.

so we lost one "star" and that makes pogba the next one out, your logical has no basis in evidence or actuality. Pogo has no desire to leave, Riaola has said its up to what Juve do ( meaning his wages, and desire to keep him) Marotta has said multiple time that pogba e incedibile. So you base your estimation on what media BS?

When? Can you link me?

What if "Pogo" ask to leave? We sell him to the first bidder?

I want a link confirming that we want to build the team around Pogba.

What Beppe said was that we want to keep our stars, as long as they want to stay here.

if pogba asks then we will se, but Paul don't want to leave
We won't see. We will sell, because that's what Beppe confirmed and already proved.

What can you do eh?

Actually I can. He's too coming from an abysmal season.
You know, people around here say we can't keep players in the team if they decided to leave we don't want :gsol:unmotivated :gsol: players playing for us.

But if every team does that then they'll screwed big time.

Just take a look at dourtmond, every club in Europe are desperate to sign either Hummels or Reus and they can offer them 3* their salaries if they want to but the management stood firm and refused to do that ! The management job is to convince their star players to stay.

If they can't, then they make sure to get the highest bid possible to these players ( Gotze, Suarez, Bale, cristiano ronaldo are just few examples.

@Mark

Who is Duncan Castles and what exactly is One World Sports?

Because according to these industry leaders, we just sold Pogba to Barcelona for 80million euro, with the stipulation that Pogba remain on loan for the year

@Hustini

Funny that you mentioned Dortmund.

What good has it brought to Dortmund lately, their unwilingness to sell players when they expressed desire to leave? Lewandovski left for free, when they could have sold him for a good price and invested elsewhere; Hummels will probably be the next in line. Model that we should definitely follow. Club that avoided relegation last season, yeah let's just look at Dortmund. :lol:

Pogba is also under contract until 2019. Tevez leaving this summer had been picking up steam for months, basically since last summer, it's not a coincidence he left after his 2nd year, he's never had more than 2 years at a club without unrest happening. Vidal transfer rumours have been going on since last Spring, and it's not like we sold him for peanuts. We didn't make a killing on him, but we sold him for what is basically market value for a player his age, after the season he had, which was good, but not great. His contract was also up in 2017. Which is much different from Pogba being under contract until 2019. Unless a ridiculous offer comes in, I doubt we sell him next year. He's young, he's tied down to long-term contract, and most importantly we have stated multiple times that we want to build this club around him. We're not a selling club. Not in the slightest. In 4 years we just sold our first starting XI player. Tevez basically forced his move to Boca, so he certainly doesn't count. Vidal is it. 1 starter sold in 4 years. OH MY GOD! PANIC! WE'RE A SELLING CLUB!
