so Ronaldo desperately wanted to leave what was the most prestigious, popular, richest and most successful club that was coming of 3 straight EPL titles and 2 straight CL finals at that time to join a Madrid team that couldnt get past R16 in the CL since 2004? i doubt Ronaldo was so keen on leaving back then. i also remember some screaming between the two in his last season in United, something i didnt notice before. Ronaldo maybe wanted Real, but he wasnt so desperate to force his way out. it was the relationship with Ferguson more than anything else that made him leave. later Ronaldo made some comments about respecting him and all, but at the time Ronaldo left, there was clearly some tension between them

Thats not true, and you know it.

Fergusson didnt accept players thinking they were bigger then the club. But Ronaldo wanted to join Madrid. And he didnt had an issue with fergusson. In fact there is tremendous mutual respect, and that has never been away.
:agree:
Madrid was his childhood dream. It's a fact that he had this great desire to join Madrid and Ferguson simply dint stand in his way.
100% we'll do the same with Pogba except that it's Barça involved this time.Pretty certain he'll ask to leave at some point.

I agree with Ronaldo, but who is to say Barcelona was Pogba's childhood's dream?

Paul ditched Real Madrid pretty hard on Facebook today. He said Real Madrid was disgrace for the way they've treated Casillas.

He commented on the club rather having big money signings then loyalty towards home grown talent. It's been taken down, but i'm 100% sure Pogba is not interested in moving to Real as of right now. At least it can be concluded he is much preferring Barca to Real.

Pogba could have easily pulled off a "sterling," but he hasn't. As of now he clearly believes in the Juve project so why all the negativity?
The only reason Pogba hasn't pulled off a "Sterling" is fact that he wouldn't be a available to play until jan. He knows he wants Barca so bad, he knows he wants their money. Let's accept it, he's a mercenary. If he ever leaves us I hope he flops reaaaaaaaaal bad.

Pogba will ask to leave at some point, but unlike ronaldo it wont be for a childhood's dream club. He'll leave for the big fancy team and a cumload of cash.
Agree.
And i think it will be probably next summer after the Euro's.
Or in 2 years maximum.

We just need to make sure we make the MAXIMUM out of it.
If it's Real -> cancel Morata's buy back + player/s + money
If it's Psg -> do everything to include Verratti in the deal.
If it's Barca then simply it should be tons of cash so we can afford to buy Verratti and ATLEAST another 1 ready WC player.

For us Barca is the worst team to sell to imo.even if they usually overpay.
