What makes things even more complicated is if it means that Pogba can join them starting in January 2016, when their ban ends. What does Juve do? Do they play him in the CL? Would they even be allowed to do so?

In that case I'd tend to agree with you. There have been deals like this in the past and often the player hasn't performed the following year. I could see Pogba have enough honour to play his best though.

I'm not sure any of this is true. Our board has only been making good deals recently. Unless there is a truly massive amount of money involved, what do we get from this?
