We should not sell Pogba, even if he comes out saying he wants to leave.

What made Barcelona such a prestige club, and attractive for players to join it, is the fact on they did hold on to their best players when they were at their peak i.e. Ronaldinho and Messi and built around them.

A lot could happen this time next year, who is to say we won't do well in the Champions League again? Pogba must remain.
Yes, although, they manage to do it by paying the kind of salaries that Juve doesn't pay. And doesn't intend to pay even as the we talk of higher turnovers because it's just not been the culture of the club to do so beyond a point. Do you think Messi would remain at Barca in the current climate of salaries if he was earning Pogba's salary, and City, PsG or Madrid came knocking with an offer to double or triple those wages? I'm not sure Barca would be able to do anything about that apart from breaking the bank to offer him a similar deal. Not commenting on how right or wrong it is, just saying that it's unfair to compare the situation because quite frankly the likes of Madrid and Barca are in a league of their own when it comes down to finances, line of credit and off late, the disproportionate levels of success, for the latter anyway.

Yeah. Then decided to go plan b and sign an even better player in Ronaldinho. Beckham was just good for selling shirts.
Masterstroke really. Ronaldinho just simply changed the game for Barca on so many levels. Drew them out of mediocrity to make them the greatest club of an era. Amazing really, what they have managed to achieve in the last decade. Shocking and unprecedented in modern football.

Barcelona managed to give those wages due to having the best players though. Their sponserships and marketing tripled as such. If Pogba truly is the next big thing, then it is extremely unwise to sell him IMO.

Last club I'd rather see Pogba in is Barca, those $#@!ers are cheap bustards !

They'll try to milk this deal and get him for as cheap as possible.
Rather Barcelona than Real

Real stole Zidane from us, I'd hate to see it all over again with Pogba

I suppose i could manage PSG taking him the least worst
PSG would be even worse IMO

Real Madrid and Barcelona are considered the top of the foodchain at the moment, everyone loses players to them. But selling Pogba to PSG, would be telling the public that we've accepted that PSG have a better project to offer. Look at the damage PSG have done to AC Milan? They won't be recovering from the Ibra + Silva sales for a long time.

it depends on how good Pogba turns out to be really.

Experience tells me that such rare talent needs to be preserved. In otherwords, he really shouldn't be sold at all. Ronaldinho was an example for Barcelona Ronaldo for Man Utd is another. Both players took their respected teams out of their darkages and on to bigger things. We're not going through a dark age, but if Pogba really is going to be the next big thing, then we really should not sell him at any price. He could turn out to be the player, that takes us into the phase, to which we become the modern day Barcelona or Real Madrid. In the long run we can be able to afford his wages because we'll be getting a lot more money with our success in the CL and the marketing value.

All these shitty rumors are getting on my nerves. And then when they are obviously bullshit, the idiots come back with "Oh yeah they won't sell him this year, but next year he's gone for sure".

I am not worried about him leaving this summer. The club has said he's not for sale and he has told Marotta and Allegri he is happy at the club. He just extended his contract and got a big bump in pay less than a year ago. All these rumors are just noise from England and Spain.

The big question over the next two years will be can the club keep growing financially to keep players like him long term. Another deep run in the CL will be crucial.

i wish laporta would just shut up and die already. getting sick of his daily fettish for pogba
Talking about a player, when that player has commited to his current club, you are not president of Barca yourself and that club is currently banned from signing players.

This guy is a scumbag
