Just more of the same, really.

Also: clearly we will not be arranging any fucking type of deal where Pogba joins Barca in January. Would make no sense for us, given European implications, squad unrest, etc.

Really wish they hadn't got the ban so this would be done and dusted this yr.
We need to stop kidding ourselves. He WON'T reject Barca also considering the fact that they''ll easily double his salary.
Too much blind trust here in my opinion. If not this year, he's 100% gone next yr.

Yep, there's no real incentive to stay here if Barca come calling.

Unbelievable wages? Check

Having plenty of freedom to terrorise a better, more exposed league playing for the best team there? Check

A lot more recognition? Check

CL contenders/favourites most years? Check

Ballon d'or chances, never gonna happen until Messi goes but his chances are pretty much nil playing for Juve. He has a fighting chance when he's in his prime in Barca.

Sorry but he'd be a fool to reject that. It's different if we're talking about a born & bread Italian Juventino but Pogba imo is off soon.

It's all about what the player has in his head and heart, gents. We know Juventus ultimately can't compete with Barca for wages or exposure right now -- although management is building something great, and the club could still ostensibly give Pogba a decent raise -- Gigi and Ale were making over 6. It really depends on the desires of the individual.

Some marry for love, others for money, some for a specific/unique quality of life. Pogba is so young still, he has so much time to learn and grow. I think scenarios could exist where he settles into this group/club further, and stays beyond 2016 -- even if the likelihood seems to be that he'll be sold for a huge amount after the 2016 Euros.

Just ignore the noise from Barca right now. Election + transfer ban = bulllllllllshit.

2h2Tarek Khatib‏@ADP1113#SKY: Laporta could become the new president of Barcelona & wants to sign Pogba, today there's been contact with Mino Raiola, meeting soon.

Tarek Khatib‏@ADP1113#SKY: Laporta's plan is to seal a deal for Pogba & then allow the player to join in January 2016 when Barca's transfer ban is lifted.

The news is coming from reliable sources so you obviously can't ignore them.

It's fair to say Pogba might sacrifice a 2-3m extra to stay here but when his wages get doubled or even tripled ? He's a professional afterall. He'd be stupid to reject that.
Raiola will make sure this happens.People thinking he'll pull a Nedved or a Hamsik even are mistaken.

We won't go above €6m for anyone atleast for another few more years.
If Barca come calling with a €10-€12m offer you really think he'll reject that ?
If it was any other agent , I'd have been more confident about keeping him but not with Raiola. He'll try to push for a transfer as much as possible.
Don't simply set yourself up for disappointment. He most probably wont be here after this season and hopefully we reinforce well with the money received. All is not lost in the end.

we can offer more than 6M easily. Buffon had such a salary even when we were in much worse financial state
Barceloan wont offer him 12M. they have Messi, Neymar, Suarez on such wages already, they dont have unlimited funds either
Raiola wont do shit against a management that has his former player with which he still has good relationships with in it. and why would he? as long as he gets whatever we pay him, he couldnt care less where Pogba is playing. but even if he did, its all on Pogba, if he wants to stay then the only transfer he can force is Bouy back to Ajax
