If we sell Pogba then we would have accepted that we will never be a big team. What sort of message are we giving to everyone if we sell him? Just imagine if Dybala does turn out to be the next messi? It means that he won't last long here either, and we've accepted being another Dortmund and A.Madrid. Pogba should stay, the end, he signed a contract, and we should keep him.
A big club does sell when a player wants to leave. The selling isn't the issue it is how you spend the money that determines what sort of club you are. Di Maria went, are real still a big club? Chelsea sold Luiz (I know he is shit but he was seen as a big player) we sold Zidane.

I dont think so, clubs also buys hype, potential and Pogba has both, Madrid paid 80 mil for James after one good world cup, heck we paid 40 mil for Dybala after one good season.
All am saying is Pogba worth 100 mil ?? Right now no but in the future he will be that player because he has the tools. But the way i see it for us the impact of 3 players that are worth 30 or 40 mil will be far greater than the impactof paul.
who are these 30 to 40m players?

u said urself hype players like dybala and firmino are going for 40m and 30m

so who are these amazing players that are better (according to u) that will be available for 30m and 40m

There's a difference in selling a good player for a ridiculous price, and selling a player who could end up being the best.

Selling Pogba, is telling the world that we simply can't have the best players at Juventus. So in other words, if we had someone like Messi or Ronaldo we cannot keep hold on him.

Thats the reality of Juventus at this point.

We're going to be a step behind the Spanish superclubs for the foreseeable future. You gotta accept it and move on.

Anyway,i expect Pogba to be an anomaly as far as selling players are concerned.Dont think we'd end up setting a bad precedent. We'll always be one of those clubs that rarely sells its best players.

Looks like an auction is starting between big spenders.

Unless Paul comes out and says he wants ONLY to play for Juve then maybe its time to start entertaining offers. 100-120m could buy us Darmian, Firmino, Cavani. I love Paul but business is business. If we are going to sell one of Vidal/Paul it should be the one that brings us the most money.

It is a joy watching Paul but I enjoy winning more and making the team better on multiple accounts should be on the forefront of our directors minds, which I'm sure it is. It is pleasant to hear them say they want to keep our best players so I guess it comes down to how Beppe plans on addressing our AM issue because Vidal doesn't belong there. Also we need a new full back and perhaps even a Tevez replacement.

Personally, I think there is a reason why Rugani/Stuaro were nailed down in January and Dybala/Khedira were nailed down so quickly. It's because they knew they needed a Tevez replacement for reasons we don't yet know and that one of Vidal/Pogba were leaving and we needed quality to fill in which is where Khedira comes in. Something big is in the making this summer and its going to be a bumpy ride for all of us. And this forum's capacity to handle the stress :D

Good luck mods :p
why does he need to do that? what he says to Marotta, Agnelli and co is what counts, im happy he isnt talking to the media about this actually

all this talk about selling one of our best players.

everyone here wants the club to be a big club, but how can u be a big club if all u do is talk about selling ur best players.

sure let's sell him. next seaosn let's sell morata too when he tops cl scoring charts. let's also sell vidal while at it.

do u see the pattern

kondogbia is $#@!. he's not even close to vidal's level. neither is isco.

i think he need to say that in public if he want to show his commitment to the club, what he said to marotta is something different its internal thing but juve is not the club, there is fans supporting the club and what a player say in public has its own weight.

does he need to be like morata? where he comes in with an interview everyweek saying how happy he is here?

won't that be annoying too?

and before you say he only needs to do it once, as long as he's a wanted player, there will always be links

Probably Zach.

But lets see how his situation develops.Benitez will play a 4-2-3-1 and James will be the centrepiece of his team which leaves no room for Isco unless he's happy being a rotational player.
Anyway,if he leaves, those EPL $#@!s will be the first ones to snatch him up.
Ronaldo-Isco-James behind a striker? also, Benitez rotates a lot, he would get enough playing time...

i'm not disgreeing with u although i think he his injury took a hit on him.

let's not forget it was his assist that gave us the edge vs dortmund in first leg. and it was his winner goal vs olymiacos that saved us from having another season of elimination from cl.

my point is if he, like u say hasnt shown himself to be a top player on a consistent basis, then no club is going to bid 100m on him. let alone 80 or even 70m. clubs are not stupid.
and the assist vs Madrid

links is okey, it doesnt bother me and tbh for me anything is possible in life.

but at least if he said it once every year or six month, is that to hard to do, the media always will chase him if he said it or no but for the fans at least.

Pogba isnt a guy who would make such meaningless statements. "I dont think about the future. im focused on the present and improving myself as a player", statements like these are what you are hearing from Pogba. and thats the right mentality actually. hes a honest and simple guy, thats why i like him. the only commitment i i wanted was the contract he signed, until 2019. Vidal signed until 2017 and he renewed a year before Pogba. thats all i needed from him, not talking to the media about every transfer rumor there is out there...
