I dont get how people are shouting "he saved us"

He's the star player. He's supposed to decide games on his own.

Why cant we be glad he's doing what is expected from a player on his wage ?

It was still a great moment in a match where our side looked pretty listless.

But that is why we have him and Tevez. They provide that extra bit that makes us the best in Serie A, and a "contender" of sorts in Europe. If we get 2-3 more top players in our side, we'd be CL contenders. Which is why it's really too bad that Vidal can't recover his World Class form.

I thought he was actually very good today. Won the ball back numerous times, helped start counters, didn't give the ball away cheaply, and scored that magic goal, along with pulling another just wide. Very good game. It's not really his fault that the rest of the team decided to sleepwalk through the game. Vidal, Marchisio, Pereyra were either invisible, or giving the ball away every chance they got.
He was good, but imho he can do much better than what he's been showing in the last few games. We've seen him in far better showings as far as this season goes. The whole team looked lost out there, unbalanced, severely lacking in motivation, especially in the 1st half. That being said Pogs along with Tevez was among our better players.

I agree it wasn't his best for sure. I just thought it was very good. He's capable of much better than "very good" though, and should be downright dominant against a midfield like Sassuolo's. All the same, today, Pogba, Tevez, and perhaps Evra were our best 3. Evra was surprisingly good on the ball today.

so how much more than vidal, marchsio, llorente and tevez is he earning? bc i dont think you should expect him to do this every match, even though he does it quite often. At 21 he again and again shows consistantly good performances, but clearly is not our most offensive mid, and doesnt finish alot of attacks. had he been an attacker or even a off. mid your comment might be right, but he isnt. Tevez is the one i would expect to decide matches, if anyone.

That goal reminded me Nedved's goal against Madrid.

Like you never praised Vidal or Pirlo over the last few years when they won us matches on their own and just said he did his job? What about Del Piero?
Are you secretly balotelli?

FYI someone just forwarded this to me:

basically he says that conte is the reason he was brought, he personally asked for him, and his first meting with antonio was very important in his choosing us
Haha the Conte haters won't like this one bit.

what a strike
Pogba made something out of nothing.i hope he scores alot of goals and lots more to come.if he continues playing like he has done this season he will be worth 250m. he is exceptionally skilled striker midfielder

So... what if we play Pogba as a classic AM / trequartista one day just for the sake of it?
Pogba is a player who has good control of the ball .so i think pogba would work, as an AM, but would obstruct the play for our forward.
playing vidal and pirlo as AM means you waste his best aspect that is box to box running and tackling skills .Vidal belongs more on defense and Pogba is the more offensive player. pogba as effective in the AM/trequartista role. In fact, the player I would play there is POG0. I'd rather see Marchisio & Vidal flank Pirlo(Pereya) with Pogba in front.
